Five days later
*Aria's POV*

I sit on the couch put my feet up, and text Spencer. A big blue bowl filled with the leftover Halloween candy from handing out to trick or treaters, rests beside me. I just recently started an aerobics class for pregnant women. It's supposed to reduce cramps and contractions, and make child birth a bit more bearable. The overall class is fine, but afterwards I'm completely exhausted and want nothing more than to curl up on the couch, go on my phone, and eat junk food such as leftover Halloween candy.

Me- Has Emily told her parents she's pregnant yet?

Spence- I don't think so. Her mom is still in Texas and I think she wants to tell her in person.

Me- yeah I would to if I were her.

Spence- How was your yoga class?

Me- Good, but exhausting! 😴

Spence- I can imagine! 😂

Just then Ezra walks through the door carrying two plastic bags in his arms.

"Hey beautiful!" Ezra says kissing my forehead. I kiss him back.

"What you got there?" I ask motioning to the bags. Ezra smiles and pulls out two little stuffed animals made of burlap. A giraffe and a lion. I gasp in awe at the cute little stuffed toys in Ezra's hand.

"Ezra they're adorable!" I say cradling the soft lion in my arms. "Let's put them in the nursery!" Ezra nods and we both walk up the stairs, down the hall to the door on the far right. Ezra and I place both of the little stuffed animals on the small round table between the cribs and the loveseat, and smile at eachother. It's the perfect addition to the nursery. I stand on my tip toes, and kiss Ezra's face. I gently place my hand on his warm cheek. It's so hard to believe that in just two and a half months, Ezra and I are going to be parents!

"Dinner?" Ezra asks, pulling away from the kiss. His gray blue eyes stare at me anxiously. I nod eagerly. Ezra and I both head downstairs hand in hand. I open the fridge and grab the left over stir fry from the top shelf.

"Ezra, can you give me a hand with dinner?" I ask politely. Ezra plops himself on the sofa and turns on the TV.

"Urgghh. I was just about to watch last night's game!" He complains motioning to the TV. I roll my eyes. Men are such babies!

"Ezra, dinner, now!" I say a bit agitated. Ezra sighs and reluctantly comes over. I ram into his side.

"Hey what was that for?" he asks annoyed.

"For being such a helpless baby!" I reply with a smirk. Ezra rolls his eyes and grabs two plates from the cabinet.

One Hour Later

I set my fork down. I ate as much as I could, and now I am satisfied. Ezra does the same.

"Thanks for dinner babe!" he says kissing my head. He heads over to the sink, dumps his plate, and walks away.

"Ezra, can you help me with the dishes?" I ask motioning to the overflowing sink. Ezra lets out an overly dramatic sigh.

"Yeah I guess but....." his voice trails off.

"But what?" I ask a bit impatient.

"Well it's just that I was really hoping to work out..." he says, looking down solemnly. When Ezra and I moved in, there was an extra space in the basement which we turned into a work out area. I frown.

"Ezra seriously, I'm asking for your help." I say growing more and more frustrated.

"I am seven and a half months pregnant with twins, I'm bloated, my ankles are swollen, my back is killing me, and I have to pee every three seconds!" I say, my voice rising. "All I want is a little help around here! Is that too much to ask?" I'm angry now.

"Aria, I've had an extremely long day at work, and all I want is a little time to myself! I have to stay in shape you know. Is that too much to ask?" Ezra asks getting mad. Now I'm boiling.

"Fine!" I scoff. "Go work out, but you're sleeping on the couch tonight." Ezra shakes his head and walks away. I turn back to the sink and groan in frustration.

I plunge a plate into a tub filled with sudsy water. The sound of the gears on the treadmill turn violently downstairs. I grimace. Why is it that I always get stuck doing everything around here! I'm the one carrying our twins! Ezra should be waiting on me, but instead here I am doing the damn dishes by myself, while Ezra is downstairs strengthening his abs. It infuriates me! I continue to wash the dishes... all by myself.

Finally I place the last dish on the drying rack. I lean on the counter and let out an exhausted sigh of relief. Then I hobble over to the couch. My ankles are killing me, and I can barley keep my balance. Once I reach the living room, I sink into the couch. I lean my head back, put my feet up, and close my eyes. Just then, a very sweaty panting Ezra comes up the stairs.

"How was your little work out session?" I ask a bit too cheery under the circumstances. Ezra gives me a hard stare.

"How long are we going to do this?" He asks. I grin.

"We can do this as long as you want." I answer throwing him a blanket. He growls.

"Aria, I'm sorry!" he says. I chuck a pillow at him.

"Oh are you now?" I ask bluntly.

"Yes!" he says giving an exasperating sigh.

"It still doesn't change the fact that you refused to help your poor pregnant girlfriend." I say, crossing my arms. He rolls his eyes, but doesn't reply. "You know, I bet if you wouldn't be able to last a day being pregnant!" I accuse. He smiles.

"Oh yeah? I bet I could!" he says confidently.

"No Ezra, you wouldn't. Trust me." I scoff.

"Try me." he says crossing his arms in front of his chest defiantly.

"Fine, let's make a bet. You have to pretend to be pregnant for a whole day." I say, narrowing my eyes.

"What's the prize?" Ezra asks. I think for a second.

"The loser has to do the dishes, laundry, and prepare dinner for two whole weeks." I decide. Ezra ponders my proposal for a moment.

"Deal." he says. "But can I have my bed privileges back? Please? I don't want to get back aches from sleeping on the couch all night." I roll my eyes and stifle a laugh.

"Fine." I say. He comes over and sits down next to me. He wraps his arm around me, and whispers in my ear.

"Baby I love you a lot, but sometimes you can be a real pain in the ass." he says. I smile up at him. He has no idea the hell I'm going to put him through tomorrow...
