One week later
*Aria's POV*"Make sure to give Ian his medicine for his acid relflux at about 7p.m., and don't forget to feed them or they will not go to sleep. Do two scoops of this formula and fill the bottles up with water, then pop it in the microwave for twenty five seconds."
It's date night for Ezra and I, and I'm dropping the twins off at my parents house before going to meet Ezra after work.
"Got it, is that all?" My mom asks taking the diaper bag from me.
"Yep, that should be it!" I say nodding. My mom gives me one final hug.
"Thank you so much for offering to watch the twins tonight!" I say, hugging her back. "Goodbye!"
"It's my pleasure! Goodbye! Have a fun night." my mom says, her eyes twinkling.
"Goodbye Mike!" I call. Mike turns around.
"Bye!" he says and turns back to face the twins, making silly faces and playing with their hands and feet. It melts my heart to see Mike so engaged with the twins.

"Ezra where are you?" I ask. I am currently standing outside of Ezra's apartment complex, the same place I was on our very first date.
"Look to your right" he says. I turn to see a limo parked on the side of the street. The window rolls down revealing a very handsom Ezra. I laugh and walk over to him.
"Well Mr. Fitz, I'm beginning to think
this is becoming a regular thing with you." I say. Ezra grins widely."Ms. Montgomery, you should know by now that I only travel in class." I smile and get in, kissing his soft lips.
"So, where are we going tonight?" I ask. Ezra smiles and holds up two tickets to the annual art show in Philadelphia. I smile too.
"Oh, I see what you're doing here! You're trying to recreate our first date!" I exclaim.
"Maybe," Ezra says smirking.
"Ezra, that is so romantic!" I say, kissing him again. He kisses back, and I can feel his lips curl into a smile beneath mine.
After a lot of kissing and talking, Ezra and I pull up in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum. Ezra pays the limo driver, and takes my arm in his. We walk along the side of the road for a while, waiting for the doors to open.
"Ezra, can you believe that three years ago, you and I came here for our first official date, and now here we are three years later, coming back as parents!"
Ezra smiles. "I know! It's so crazy to think about." I lay my head on his shoulder and we walk hand in hand around the block.

The doors to the art museum open up, and Ezra and I follow the crowd anxiously. Once inside, all I can do is stare in awe. Art and photography are two of my most favorite things! I wanted to pursue art and photography as a career, but that has to wait now that Lucy and Ian came along. I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed, but my goal is to get there eventually when the twins are older.
"Look at this one!" Ezra says, pointing to a landscape of the Appellation Mountains.
"Some day, I want to go there." I say, running my hand across the painting. Ezra nods in agreement.
"Me too! I want to go hiking up them and stay in a cozy cottage in a valley with a little river running through it."
I sigh. "That would be the life. When we're old and gray and our kids have grown up, you and I should retire to the mountains."
"No, don't talk about that! Lucy and Ian are staying little forever!" Ezra whines. I chuckle.
"Ooh Ezra look at this one!" I say, motioning to a sculpture in the corner. Ezra gives it a sideways glance.
"What do you think it is?" he asks. I shrug.
"It looks like a demented dinosaur." I say laughing. Ezra laughs too, but then shakes his head.
"No, it looks like a dog with the face of a clown!" he says.
"No, it looks like a suffocating fish!" I argue. Ezra snaps his fingers.
"I know! It looks like my mother when she's drunk!" he says. This causes me to burst into laughter. Ezra does too. I laugh so hard that my chest feels like it's on fire, and it takes me a while to catch my breath. I can't imagine a better way to spend my Friday night, then being here, laughing with my favorite man in the whole wide world.
*****
"That was so much fun!" I say, as we are heading out of the museum.
"It was! What was your favorite part?" Ezra asks. I pause for a minute.
"Probably the photography unit." I say. Ezra nods.
"Yeah, I liked that too, but my favorite was the sculpture of my drunk mother" he says laughing. I join in. The street lights are on, illuminating the darkened streets. It's raining just enough to be visible, and cars, with headlights on and wind shield wipers activated, are parked all along the streets.
"It's a beautiful night." I say, linking arms with Ezra. He looks at me.
"You're not bohered by the rain?" he asks. I shake my head.
"Not at all!"
"Well then, our time here isn't finished." Ezra says, leading me away. I have no idea where we are going, but I fully trust Ezra. We walk along the sidewalk for a while, passing little shops and cafe's a long the way. People clutching umbrellas scurry past us, trying to eacape the rain, while Ezra and I just walk in it, enjoying every second. Ezra glances at his watch.
"Let's go this way." he says, leading me through a narrow alley around the corner. I don't protest, he obviously knows where he's going. The rain turns from a drizzle to a downpour, but I don't mind it in the least. I'm enjoying myself too much to care about a little rain.
"I wonder how the twins are doing." I yell over the pouring rain.
"Well we haven't got any calls from your parents or the police, so I'd say that's a good sign!" Ezra says, then stops.
"Do you remember this place?" he asks me. I look around. There's a clock standing in the middle of a little park. A few benches surround it. A sign in the corner reads: Midtown Square.
"Of course I remember this place! I asked you to meet me under the clock if there was still hope for us, and you came." I say, remembering it all too well. Ezra nods.
"Do you remember what time you asked me to meet you?" he asks, sitting down on a bench. I nod.
"Of course! Eight o' clock pm." Just then the clock strikes, so I look up. It's exactly eight o' clock! I turn back to Ezra. Just then, he does something that makes my heart stop.
He gets down on one knee.
"Aria, from the moment I met you, I knew that you were the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. You are an amazing friend, sister, daughter, girlfriend, and now mommy to our two very special and very new twins. The times that we were apart were the darkest times of my life. You asked me once to meet you here at eight o' clock if there was still hope for us, and now I'm here at eight o' clock in pouring rain, wondering if there is still hope for us, and if there is hope for us forever." Ezra reaches in his pocket and pulls out a small ring box. By this time, tears flow freely down my face.
"Now that we have two beautiful children, I don't think I can wait another day to ask you this so, Aria Marie Montgomery, will you marry me?"
My whole body shakes with sobs, and I can't seem to stop it. My clothes are soaked through, and rain drops drip from my hair. Through my tears of joy I manage to throw my arms around Ezra and say one simple word,
"Yes"
