Three days later
*Aria's POV*

"Almost ready Babe?" Ezra asks. Today is the day that we get to take Lucy and Ian home!

"I think so." I say, gathering the last of my belongings on the bed. Ezra shoves the babies' meager belongings into a duffel bag. The twins got many visitors and many gifts the past three days. Since the twins were born after 11:00 p.m., our family and friends had to wait anxiously all night. Of course Ezra called everyone the minute the twins were born, so they all knew when the babies were born.

Hanna, Caleb, Emily, Spencer, Paige, and Toby all came the day after. Caleb and Hanna brought the twins a few matching outfits that they bought at the mall right after they got the text that my water broke. Spencer and Toby brought the twins a basket full of dipers, pacifiers, and matching teddy bears. Lucy's is pink and Ian's is blue. Emily and Paige bought the twins each a set of onesies as well.

Ezra's brother Wesley came to visit the next day. Dianne wanted to come, but she was out of town for the week. At first Dianne hated me. She makes it clear that she still isn't fond of me, but she has definitely started warming up to the thought of Ezra and I. I hope now that she has grandchildren, she will become an even bigger part in our lives and be an active grandma figure in the twins' lives.

My mom, Mike, and my dad came to visit too! My brother and mom fell in love with the twins right away. My dad apologized a million times and shed many tears, so did I. Of course I forgave him. He's my dad and now the grandpa to the twins, and I couldn't stay mad at him forever! My family brought the twins outfits, toys, and matching blankets that they absolutely love!

Ezra and I carefully dress the sleeping twins in their going home outfits. Lucy's outfit is a white, footed onesie with pink and yellow flowers and a matching hat. Ian's outfit is the same white, footed onesie with Noah's ark animals and a matching hat. They both look so adorable. I still can't believe how beautiful they are. I honestly just want to snuggle them all day long and never let them go!

Lucy and Ian both wake up when we change their diapers and dress them. Lucy begins to fuss, so I pick her up and bounce her in my arms. Her crying stops and her eyes close. Her little bare chest rides up and down as she snores silently. I kiss the light fuzz ontop of her head, and lay our sleeping daughter in her carseat. Ezra lays the still sleeping Ian into his carseat as well. Just then, Nurse Betty comes in with a clipboard in her hand.

"Aria, are you leaving now?" she asks sweetly. Ezra and I nod in unison.

"just about!" I say looking around the room. Betty smiles.

"Okay, I need you and Mr. Fitz to sign these last few papers confirming your discharge." Ezra and I nod and take the clipboard from her outstretched hand.

"Here you are." Ezra says, handing the clipboard back to Betty.

"Awesome!" she says. "We will escort you to your car." she says opening the door. Ezra takes Ian's carseat, and I take Lucy's. Then we follow Betty and the other nurses down the hall and to the elevator.

"Au Revoir!" Ezra says in his best french accent.

"Farvel!" I repeat. Ezra shoots me a questioning stare.

"What?" he asks confused. I shake my head.

"It's goodbye in Icelandic! You're not the only one who can speak a foreign language. I spent a year in Iceland remember?" I ask in mock offense. Ezra nods.

"Oh I'm sorry." he says. I give him a playful punch in the arm. The elevator doors slide open, and we step out into the main hospital lobby. The chauffeur comes through the main door as they pull Ezra's car up to the lobby.

"Do you mind taking a quick picture of us?" Ezra asks handing Betty his phone. Betty nods vigorously and takes the phone.

Ezra and I pose in front of the hospital doors each of us holding a carseat. Ezra wraps his arm around my shoulders and pulls me closer.

"Say cheese!" Betty says, holding up the phone.

"Cheese!" Ezra and I both say in unison. Betty takes the picture and hands it back to Ezra.

"There you go!" She says smiling. "Your very first family photo!"

Ezra and I thank her and the rest of the staff, then we strap the two carseats into the back seat of Ezra's car. I kiss the top of both of their heads, before closing the door and climbing into the passenger seat.

Ezra and I wave goodbye to the staff as we pull out of the hospital parking lot. Once we are out of sight, I turn to Ezra.

"I can't believe we're parents!" I say beaming. Ezra nods, but keeps his eyes on the road.

"You are going to be the most amazing mommy the world has ever known! I mean look at you! You already are and the kids are just three days old!" I chuckle a little. Ezra's sense of humor along with his sweet words and charm is enough to make any girl fall madly in love with him. Ezra pulls me close and kisses my temple.

"I love you so damn much." He says. I blush.

"I love you so damn much too."

A few minutes later we pull up the driveway and into the garage. Although I've only been gone for a few days, I've missed this place so much.

"Okay, I need to get a video of you walking in with the babies for the very first time." Ezra says pulling out the video camera. I have a feeling that this is going to be one of many, many firsts. I roll my eyes and open the back door, unbuckling the twins from the back seat.

"Okay Ian and Lucy, this is your home!" I say, opening the front door. Ezra and I both gasp when we walk through.

Pink and blue ballons are scattered all around the room, and the same colored streamers hang from the ceiling. Baskets of presents and goodies are piled on the kitchen table, and in the center of the table, a white cake with pink and blue flowers reads: "Welcome Home Fitz Family of Four!"

"Ezra, who did all this?" I ask in amazement.

"I don't know!" Ezra replies, shaking his head in disbelief. An unopened envelope is signed in beautiful lettering, laying face up on the kitchen counter.

"To the Fitz parents," it says. I rip it open and unfold the card. When I read it, the house suddenly doesn't feel as welcoming as it did only moments ago, and I know that the little welcome home party certainly wasn't an act of kindness.

"What is it?" Ezra asks after seeing my face. I silently hand him the card so that he can read what it says.

Hip hip Hooray, now I have four Fitz's to torture! Welcome home Fitz family, party of four! It's a shame I don't allow maternity leaves :( -A
