*Hanna's POV*
"There's a bucket back there for you. I figured after all the stuff you drank, it would come in handy eventually. And don't worry, I gave you a pill to help sober you up so you won't be miserable for too long. You better buckle up and hold on because it's going to be a long night." Caleb says, and focuses his attention back on the road.
"Oh my god, get me out of here!" I scream, reaching for the door handle.
"Hanna stop!" Caleb says, locking the door and diminishing any chance I have of escaping.
"Where are you taking me?" I ask, barley able to speak, partly because I have the nastiest hangover, but mostly because I'm still in complete shock.
"Hanna, just relax. Everything will be okay, trust me."
In my head, I'm screaming continuously at him. How much he hurt me and how I will never forgive him, but on the outside, I'm too exhausted to move, much less speak. All I can manage to do is grunt. Caleb looks back. I may be drunk as hell but I can tell he's scared. More than that, he's terrified.
"He's after us. We don't have much time, so I need you to cooperate. Can you do that for me?" Caleb asks. I grunt again and close my eyes.
"I'll take that as a yes." Caleb says, and that's the last thing I remember before I pass out in the back seat...again.

"Hanna wake up!" Caleb cries. I feel firm hands shaking my shoulders violently. I snap open my eyes and am relieved and surprised to find that my hangover is completely gone, and I don't feel the least bit drunk. In fact, I am alert as ever.
"Caleb, where are we?" I ask, sitting up and looking around at my surroundings. All I can tell is that we are in the middle of the woods with no light or sounds aside from our voices. This makes me very uncomfortable. Not only am I in the middle of the woods in the middle of the night, but I am with the person who terrorized my friends and I for years.
"Hanna, I know I'm probably the last person you want to trust right now, but please I'm begging you, It's for your own safety. He's after us!" Caleb says, grabbing my arm and pulling me out of the car.
"Oh hell no!" I scream, yanking my arm away.
"Shhhh, keep your voice down. He'll hear you!" Caleb says in a loud whisper. Again I can see the panic in his eyes. This is real. Whoever it is he's afraid of, is really out there. I can see it in his eyes. The eyes I used to long to look into. So genuine, so deep, but before I know it, Caleb is dragging me through the woods at ninety miles an hour in the dead of night.
"Where are we going?" I ask again. "why are you dragging me through the woods in the middle of the night? Who are we hiding from? Why are you so frantic? Why am I even following you right now? Why-"
Caleb stops and turns around. "Stop asking so many questions! I'll explain it all when we get there."
"Get where?" I ask, but Caleb shushes me again. A twig snaps in the distance. I shudder and follow close beside Caleb. Pretty soon the Lost Woods Resort comes into view.
Caleb checks us into room three. Once we are safely inside, Caleb locks the door and closes the window shades.
"Now can you tell me what's going on?" I ask, crossing my arms defiantly.
"Ok, Hanna listen, I know you think I'm the worst person in the entire universe, but please, just let me explain." Caleb says.
"Explain what?" I ask. "You lied to me Caleb, you lied to Ashley and everyone else. You left us! Jumped out the window and never came back."
"But I am back! I'm here Hanna! I finally escaped that hell and now I'm here to tell you everything."
I look at him. "No more secrets?" I ask. He nods.
"No more secrets."
"Okay." I agree reluctantly. "Tell me everything."
"Hanna, it was never my intention to join the A team. I promise you. In fact, I couldn't even imagine doing something like that! But then you got pregnant. You got pregnant with my baby, and I couldn't let you raise it with the thought of A still being out there. Our baby, Ashley, was just another victim to torture in A's eyes. I couldn't let our daughter experience all that trauma in her childhood. You never know what A is capable of. I grew up bouncing from foster home to foster home. I know what it's like to have a horrible childhood, and I couldn't let my daughter go through that. Those memories never leave you..." Caleb's voice trails off, and tears glisten in his eyes. I bite my lip, on the verge of tears myself.
"Anyways, the months leading up to the day Ashley was born, I grew more and more anxious, and this unsettling feeling of A being a part of our daughter's life never left. I ran myself crazy constantly thinking about it. One night, I thought back to a few years ago when Toby joined the A team to protect Spencer. At first the thought of me joining the A team was completely insane! But the more I thought about it, and the more I feared for Ashley's safety, the more it sounded like a good idea. I was able to track A's phone because of a text you got. I texted A and said I wanted to join the A team so in the days following, he sent me a package with black gloves and a black hoodie and a note that read 'welcome to the team' and I knew I couldn't turn back. I was all in. "
"Why didn't you tell me?" I ask, still trying to decide whether or not to believe his story. A lot of things are adding up, but I'm still loaded with questions.
"I thought about telling you, believe me. I wanted to tell you SO bad, but you and I both know that somehow, word always travels back to A. In order for my plan to work, I had to convince A that I was totally on his side, even if it meant keeping secrets from the ones I love. A lives and breathes on lies. The more lies I told, the more and more A trusted me."
"Did you ever find out anything about A?" I ask. Caleb nods.
"A lot. I found all of A's plots. A planned to get you pregnant, and all your friends too. The very fact that A was behind it all was just another reason to ensure our daughter's safety. A never does anything without getting something in return." Caleb says. I begin to ask a question that has been on my mind since I first found out.
"Did you ever see-"
"No." Caleb cuts me off. "I never saw A unmasked. A always wore a black hoodie and a mask whenever I saw him. I never heard A speak either. He always disguised his voice with a talk box." Caleb looks disappointed.
"Oh..." my voice trails off.
"BUT, I do know one thing." Caleb says. "A is definitely a guy."
I can't say I'm at all surprised. I mean, A has to be a guy. He got Emily pregnant! It's good to know that Caleb confirmed it though.
"So, why did you leave for so long, and why did you decide to come back now?" I ask. Caleb looks nervous.
"I'm sorry I left you in the dark for so long, but I had to finish what I started. You see, after you kicked me out, I knew that I needed to get to the bottom of things. I couldn't just let A win! So I continued to follow him, for days, weeks, months! Until one day, he found out. He was SO angry that he threatened to kill me, you, and Ashley, so I ran. I ran and found you. He's after us Hanna! I made sure to stay out of sight because I knew how risky it was to show myself to you, but when I saw you with him at the club..." Caleb starts crying. Silent tears trickle down my cheeks as well.
"Everything I did was to protect you. I love you, Hanna Marin, and I've never stopped loving you."
Caleb and I are tangled up in eachother before I know it. I've missed kissing him so much. Tears roll down our cheeks, but our lips never part. Suddenly a forceful knock on the door interrupts our moment. Caleb looks at me, horror in his eyes.
"He's here."
