Four days later
*Hanna's POV*

I stand at the kitchen counter dicing up red peppers for tonight's dinner. I can't help but smile and place a hand on my baby bump. About a week ago, Caleb and I finally got to find out the gender of our baby! I remember it so clearly. One of the best days of my life.

Flashback

Caleb squeezes my hand tightly. I smile up at him and squeeze back. The doctor rubs the wand over my stomach, and I wait anxiously for the result. Caleb and I have been waiting for this day for so long! I can't believe in just seconds away from now, we will finally know the gender of our baby!

"Do you and your boyfriend want to find out the gender, or keep it a surprise?" The doctor asks while staring at us.

"We want to find out." Caleb says grinning at me. The doctor nods.

"Do you agree?" she asks me. I nod my head vigorously.

"Okay!" she says, turning back to the screen. Caleb and I watch in silence as the doctor examines my uterus.

"Congratulations! It's a little girl!" the doctor exclaims. I immediately burst into tears of joy. Caleb and I are having a baby girl! I'm going to have a little daughter! As soon as the doctor leaves the room, Caleb wraps me in a hug.

"Hanna, we are having a baby girl! I'm going to have a beautiful little daughter who looks just like you!" He leans in and gives me a slow passionate kiss. I couldn't be happier.

End of flashback

I smile to myself and think about how lucky I am. I can't wait for my beautiful daughter to be born! The whole ride home from the clinic Caleb and I discussed names. We both decided that we are going to name our daughter after my mom, Ashley.

Caleb is planning on coming over for dinner as usual, but this time he told me it was going to be extra special, and to make sure that I make a fancy dinner, because this is a big deal! I decided that I was going to make Fettuccine Alfredo with garlic bread and stuffed peppers.

Just as I am putting the stuffed peppers into the oven, Caleb walks in.

"Hey babe." he says, kissing me.

"Hey." I reply after we pull apart. "I just put the peppers in the oven, so they should be done shortly." Caleb grins at me. His smile is mischievous.

"What?" I ask him. He just smiles wider.

"What?" I ask again. He grabs my waist and spins me around, then embraces me in a hug.

"Okay, There is definitely something going on with you." I say squished in his shoulder. "what gives!"

"Yeah, yeah you got me." Caleb says.

"So what is it?!" I ask excitedly. The suspence is killing me! Caleb shakes his head.

"I'll tell you after dinner." he says. I groan in frustration.

"Grrr I hate you!" I yell only half joking. Caleb walks over to the stove where I'm standing. I reach behind him and whip him hard with the oven mitt on his behind.

"youch!" Caleb cries. "What was that for?" Now it's my turn to grin mischievously.

"For being so god damn frustrating!" I say gritting my teeth.

Caleb laughs. "That's what I do best!" I grimace. Sometimes Caleb can really get on my nerves! Caleb ignores me and stirs the Alfredo Sauce, trying to hide his ear-to-ear grin.

Once we are seated at the dinner table, I decide to ask him one more time.

"Caleb, please tell me!"I plead. Caleb twirls his fork, and pops it in his mouth chewing a lot longer than usual. I roll my eyes in frustration. Finally Caleb swallows.

"Fine I will tell you..." he says sighing. My hope rises. "...As soon as I'm done eating." He smiles giddily, and spoons another bite of pasta into his mouth. I roll my eyes at him and chew my food forcefully.

Finally, FINALLY we both finished our dinner, and our dishes were all put away. Caleb takes my hand, and walks me outside onto the patio. The wicket rooftop is strung with Christmas lights, giving the whole patio a romantic feel. He sits me down next to him on the outdoor sofa, takes both my hands in his, and looks at me with blue twinkling eyes.

"Babe, you'll never guess" he starts. I stare at him with anticipation. He doesn't even give me a chance to respond before continuing.

"Hanna, We just bought a house!" he exclaims. I don't even know what to say. My smile is so big, I felel like it will fall right off my face! I lunge forward and wrap my arms around Caleb's neck.

"Caleb that's great!" I shout with excitement. I lean forward and kiss him. He kisses me back. Then he puts both hands on my baby bump, and bends down to kiss right above my belly button.

"Do you hear that baby Ashley?" He asks in a chirpy sing- song voice. "Your mommy and I just bought a house! You can have your own little nursery with little pink teddy bears, and you can have a backyard to run and play in with a swing set built by yours truly!"

I chuckle softly to myself. I love when Caleb talks to Ashley. It makes my heart burst with joy.

"So tomorrow would you like to see the house?" Caleb asks.

"Of course!" I say smiling broadly. "Ashley and I will both be there!" I say laughing. Caleb laughs too, and wraps me once again in a long loving hug. I can't wait until our little Ashley is born.

Caleb, Ashley, and I are going to be the perfect little family, and now we have our own little house to call our own where Ashley can grow up to be an amazing little girl. I'm feeling pretty damn good right now.
