Baby on Board

Two days later
*Hanna's POV*

I park my car right outside of the Rose Wood Police Department. Caleb has just recently applied for a job there, and Toby has offered to guide him through the training routine. Normally Caleb drives himself home from work every day, but for this week I'm picking him up after work, because his car is in the shop. I pull out my phone. The girls and I haven't heard from A recently. After Emily found out that A got her pregnant, we haven't heard anything from him. He's probably scared, because he knows that we are getting close to unmasking him. Paternal tests don't lie...

I see Caleb walk out. He shivers and stuffs his hands in his pocket. It is now mid November and the trees are all barren. Occasionally a leaf will blow across the street, but other the that, nothing much. Thanksgiving is coming up in a couple of weeks. My dad invited me over for dinner with him, his new wife Isabelle, and her daughter, who also happens to be my arch nemesis, Kate. I said no. My mom, and grandma are coming over for dinner at Caleb and I's new house. Then Caleb and I will go to California to see his family too.

Caleb opens the car door and hops inside.

"Hey baby." he says kissing my lips. "And hey little Ashley." He coos in a baby voice. He leans down and kisses my stomach right above my belly button.

"Hey, do you mind if we stop at the store?" I ask. "I want to pick up a few things for Ashley's nursery." Caleb shakes his head.

"Not at all." he says. "But, I get to drive." He pushes me over to the other side of the car.

"Hey!" I say laughing. "Fine, I'll move!"

I eventually manage to move to the other seat. With my big pregnant belly, it's not as easy as it was five months ago!

"How's Spencer doing?" Caleb asks when we finally start driving. I frown.

"She's doing as well as she can right now. The girls and I don't like to bother her about it, so I guess I don't know for sure, but she seems to be doing okay."

"That's good." Caleb says, switching lanes. "Toby doesn't like to talk about it either. It's too painful for him. Today was his first day back at work. His eyes looked sad, and it looked like he hadn't slept in days."

"I don't blame him. Imagine loosing Ashley." I say glancing down at my little girl growing inside of me.

"Who knew you could love someone so unconditionally without even meeting them." Caleb says smiling. I nod in agreement.

"And who knew you could love someone as much as I love you." I say kissing his cheek. Caleb looks at me and smiles.

"You look beautiful." he says. I blush, and kiss him again.

About ten minutes later we pull into the parking lot of 'Pottery Barn Kids.' It's Caleb and I's favorite store to shop at for Ashley's nursery. In fact, most everything in her nursery is from this store. Except for the bedding. Aria accidentally ordered two sets of pink sheets by accident, so she gave one to me. The twins nursery and Ashley's nursery have the same color scheme, so it worked out perfectly!

Caleb and I walk hand in hand inside the store.

"Okay, all I need is a lamp, and a picture frame to decorate the nightstand." I say. "Oh, and I need a throw blanket for the ottoman."

"Do we need a throw pillow to go with the throw blanket? Or how about three picture frames instead of one?" Caleb jokes. He knows how much I love shopping. I roll my eyes in disgust.

"Nope. Aria gave me a throw pillow to go to go with the bedding, and we only need one picture frame... for now." I say. Caleb chuckles.

"For now." he repeats. I elbow him in the ribs. He just smiles and doesn't say a word. Caleb and I walk hand in hand towards the back of the store.
