Two weeks later
*Emily's POV*

It is now a week until Christmas which means that I am almost four months pregnant! I can't remember the last time I was able to eat breakfast without puking two hours later. They don't call it morning sickness for nothing! Some days I can't even get out of bed because I'm so sick. Aria, Hanna, and Spencer had morning sickness too, but not as bad as I do. I am sick literally 24/7. There's no getting out of it! Some days are worse than others, but so far overall, being pregnant sucks. I can't wait for it to be over!

Spencer has been home from Radley for about a week now. She is doing much better! I can definitely see her improving more every day! We agreed to not discuss what happened anymore. It's gone, done with, over. Of course I still feel bad, but I know it's not my fault. I'm just glad that everything is finally returning back to normal.

Paige has just recently gotten a job at a pet shop. She has been staying with me in my parents house, which I appreciate greatly. My mom and dad are both currently living in Texas, so Paige and I have the house to ourselves. I'm still so thankful to have such loving and forgiving parents. Both of them seemed to take the news of my pregnancy very well. I guess it could be the fact that it wasn't my fault. It was A's. It still makes me sick to my stomach—more so then I already am—every time I think of the fact that this baby growing inside of me is also A's baby. My poor child is going to grow up knowing nothing about it's father except for that he is a psychopath that has tortured my friends and I for years and even came close to killing us!

I sit at the kitchen counter sipping my herbal tea quietly. Tea is one of the few things that I can keep down. It really sucks to be pregnant. I am anxiously awaiting the day where I can meet my baby, when I can finally be done puking my guts out and feeling like a walking balloon. That will be the day. Just then Paige walks in, disrupting my thoughts.

"Hey Em." she says, planting a kiss on my head. I frown.

"You missed!" I say pretending to sound shocked. Paige looks confused. I giggle and lean forward so that my lips touch hers. I give her a nice, slow, deep kiss on the lips. Once we pull apart, her eyes are shining, and she's smiling. I smile too and kiss her again.

"How was work today?" I ask, sipping on my tea. Paige shrugs.

"It was okay. I would have much rather liked to spend the day with you instead."

"Me too." I say smiling. "Did anything exciting happen?" I ask. Paige walks over to the counter and pours herself a cup of tea.

"Well we finally sold that chameleon that no one wanted."

"Oh that's cool." I say.

"yeah,  I'm just glad because that means it's one less animal for me to look after." she says, only half joking. I roll my eyes at her which causes us both to burst into laughter.

"Hey, do you want to go out to eat tonight?" Paige asks. "I can't remember the last time we ate out." I nod in agreement.

"Not since this little brute came along." I say laying a hand on my stomach. "You make it nearly impossible for mommy to do anything anymore besides puke!" I say in a bitter sweet voice. Paige laughs.

"Oh Em, you are going to make a wonderful mom someday." she sighs deeply. I smile and look up.

"And you're going to make a wonderful auntie." Paige blushes.

"so what do you think? You, me, dinner?" she asks hopeful.

"Let's do it." I say. "I can't promise you that this little stinker is going to let me keep it down, but it's worth a try."
