Chapter 27

Simon's POV:

I stormed up to my room and just sat in my chair. What the fuck is Joe trying to do? Who does he think he is trying to ruin someone's damn relationship. I unlocked my phone and scrolled to see Joe's contact number. The phone rang until he finally picked up.

"About fucking time you start talking." I scolded.

"What's the matter with you, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Joe retorted.

"Don't try to play me, I know what your doing. Trying to break up a relationship innit. You can think twice about it-"

"Do I sense jealousy?"

"There is nothing to be jealous about, what? A bloody weasel trying to snag a girl? Yeah very appealing- "

"Simon I wish I knew what you were talking about." Joe trying to put on this chill and innocent act really started to piss me off.

"I heard what you said about Courtney, you sick fuck! Go on and find someone else. But if I hear another thing come out your mouth about Courtney then it's going to be you and me."

"We'll see Minter, but you seem to be intimidated my me. I'll see you in a couple days at Shannon's birthday." Joe said as he hung up the phone.

God I hated it, I was growing a hatred for him. I knew Joe had a problem with Josh and Freya before. But we obviously moved past it and it seems like history is repeating itself. I carried on with recording with the guys but my mind was just revolving around Courtney and Joe. Would she actually leave me for him? No no no. Maybe... Fuck I really hated this.

*Skip a couple days later at Shannon's birthday party*

Still Simon's POV:

We were in Ethan's flat and the music was blasting. I was dancing with Courtney as her hips gyrated against my lower half. This girl had rhythm, we danced to the music enjoying our time. And we separated for what it seemed like two seconds and she was yet to be found. I walked around the crowded people and I stumbled into Jess. Jess was Joe's close girl friend, whatever they were, but they weren't dating.

"Hey Simon don't you look spiffy, all for Courtney right?" I just chuckled as she said that. I really couldn't take this girl seriously though, she was obviously a bit waved. "Wanna play a game of beer pong?" I nodded because why not. After playing the round she lost and didn't even get a cup from my side. "Damn you Simon and your skills. Maybe we should test where your other skills are?" I just stared at her and took a step back.

Courtney's POV:

After abbot of dancing with Simon I went to the balcony just to get some air. I turned to the view and it was honestly breathtaking, I look to my right to find Joe.

"Joe you okay? Are you legitimate?" I said holding up my hand, I giggled. He turned around and he honestly looked hit. His eyes was red and his cheeks were wet. "Joe oh my, what happened?"

"She doesn't want me," he said.
"Who, Jessica?" Without him answering me he leaned on my shoulder, I nearly fell on the floor. "Come on Joe you have to freshen up, you can't be crying at a party," I grabbed his wrist and made my way to the bathroom. "Joe rinse your face Joe, I'll fetch you some water." I walked out the bathroom and looked for the drinks.

"Hey Ethan are there any bottles of water?"

"Yeah in the cabinet, have you seen how sexy Shannon looks. My word-"

"Thanks Ethan but you should just tell that to her," I got a bottle of water and walked back when I saw Simon and Jess. I quickly rushed to the bathroom and gave Joe his water. I walked back and went to Simon.

"What's going on over here hm?" I said raising my eyebrow to Simon.

"Actually nothing, nothing is happening at all!"
I looked at Simon and I felt my eyes getting full. I just told Joe that he is being a pussy crying at a party. I turned and looked at Jess sharply.

"Shouldn't you be helping Joe?" I asked her.

"It looks like you already took care of him," she said smirking. God I can't stand her. I intertwined hands with Simon and led him out in the hallway outside the flat.

"Simon what the fuck is going on, you gotta tell me the fucking truth." I said and I stood opposite side of the wall.

"Court chill out, nothing even happened. I should be asking you that question," as soon as he said that I looked up at him. I just laughed at him.

"You questioning what I'm doing? Simon what did that girl even tell you?" I wasn't even sad anymore I was just pissed off now.

"She said you and Joe were holding hands going to-"

"You see that's where you should stop right there, how come you didn't ask me first hm. Seriously, Simon we've been dating for a good amount of time and you trust someone that you barely know. That's bullshit. Yeah right we're having this conversation right now."

"Courtney you know that's not what I meant, but Jessica latched onto me. It wasn't like I love her like I love you. It's not even like that," I just looked at Simon. "But you and Joe is-"

"Is what Simon? Are really getting insecure about Mr. Joe Weller hm?"

Simon's POV:

"Is what Simon? Are really getting insecure about Mr. Joe Weller hm?" Courtney said taking a step towards me with her arms folded. We just looked at each other in the hallway. I couldn't help but stare at her, she was looking gorgeous as always.

"You know, you could always get rid of your anger in the bedroom right. Studies show that-" I added as I pulled her close. I felt her hand pass on my crotch and I immediately got a boner.

"Guess what?" She asked as she pecked my lips. I looked at her as she looked at me, "those studies don't show how successful they are when a girl is on her period. Try again next time babe." She really played me, it was still sexy that she just did that but still feisty.

"You gotta be joking me Courtney, why are you fucking with me?"

"Don't fuck with me, then we'll be all good Mr. Minter." She walked back in the apartment and this girl just left me with a fucking boner in the hallway. Fuck sake.
