"God bless the broken road that led me straight to you."
A/N: I'm going to start putting little love qoutes or just qoutes on the top for each chapter because it's really cute! <3
A few weeks later, nothing had really changed. Chase and I exchanged a few words, but that was all. He would occasinally glance at me when we would see each other at the mall or just outside, but then that, we were dead. I just hope he knows how much I regret breaking his heart, like I said before; I was stupid, lost, and confused.
Austin and I are close, but we are trying just to be friends, nothing more, but I have to be honest; it's hard- very hard. Everytime I see him I just want to kiss him and hug him. But I somehow manage myself, how? I have no idea.
Emma and I are friends, in fact we've gotten very close to each other within a few weeks. I'm actually pretty happy about that, because she truly is a good person in heart.
So here I am, in my room, on a Friday night. I'm not sure what Emma or Austin were doing. I would call them, but honestly, I'm to lazy to.
After sitting in my bed for a straight hour, doing absolutely nothing, I decided to get up. I stretched as I felt my back bones crack, to tell you the truth, I'm not flexible- at all. I can't do a split nor a simple cartwheel. I try, but I just can't. Of course I wish I was flexible, but I'm not and I accept that.
I slowly walked over to my phone that was currently laying on my night stand, and I picked it up. I decided to call Austin since I just hung with Emma yesterday. I dialed his number and waited patiently for him to pick up.
"Hello?" His voice hummed through the phone.
"Hey!" I chirped, happy to hear his voice.
"Hey Lil's, what's up?" He asked.
"Nothing, what's up with you?" I asked him back as I sat on my bed, playing with the fabric.
"Nothing really." He replied as I nodded even though he couldn't see me.
"Well, want to hang out?" I asked, hopefully.
"Yeah, sure. Actually, there's a party tonight at Chase's house, do you want to go with me?" He asked.
Chase invited me a few days ago, but I never really thought of going. Everyone's been talking about the party nonstop, and it's annoying as fuck.
I thought for a second, if Austin's going, I probably should go too, my mind said. I nodded as I cleared my voice, "Sure," I replied.
"Great! I'll pick you up at 9ish," Austin chirped, I could tell he was smiling just by his voice.
"Okay, bye." I said as I hung up after hearing him say a faint bye as well.
I checked the time, 7:40 PM. I decided to take a short nap, before the party considering I probably wasn't going to get home until 1 in the morning. I walked over to my bed and cuddled under than warm blankets, covering my whole body. Soon, my eyes drifted into slumber.
***
I woke up and stretched before yawning really loud. I checked the time and it was currently 8:40 . I decided to get ready. I wasn't that type of girl that takes three hours to do her hair- no. I take long, but not that long.
As soon as I got finished, I heard a doorbell ring, indicating he was here- Austin.
I quickly scurried downstairs, eager to see his face. But half way down the stairs, my stomach knotted down, making me fall down the last few steps. I hugged my stomach, screaming in pain. I'm pretty sure Austin heard me because matter of seconds later, he bursted into my house, rushing over to me. I covered my eyes as my stomach began to sting, preventing my eyes to water.
"Lily, what happened? Are- are you okay? Lily!" Austin began to panick as he hovered over me, trying to comfort and protect me.
I always thought Austin panicking to much was so cute. He just gets so scared, it makes me happy. Wow, I feel sick. But not like that- more like; he makes me feel, useful. And I love that.
"Aus- I'm fine." I groaned as I began to get up. And a few seconds later, once I was on my feet again, everything disappeared. The pain stopped and I was all better again. What the fuck.
"I'm actually really fine?" I said as I was rather confused myself.
"You weren't 'fine' just a few seconds ago, you were on the ground as if you just had a heartattack or something!" Austin shouted. I wasn't surprised, I would be freaking out too.
"I know, but I- I feel better now. It just all went away once I stood up. Pretty weird shit." I said as I mumbled the last part to myself.
"Oh, okay?" Austin said confused. "Do you want to still go or s-"
"Go- I really need to get out of this house- now!" I said as Austin quickly nodded. We went to his car and he began driving off- and that's when I knew;
I knew this party wasn't any good.
