"I'll do anything for you."

Austin's POV

I grabbed my shoes and ran out my door. No, I didn't care if it was five o' clock in the morning, I just cared if Lily was okay.

I walked to Lily's house, considering she only lived a couple houses away. As soon as I got there, I noticed her bedroom windows were wide open. I twitched my eyebrows before walking towards her windows. I climbed my way up to her window and climbed into her room. I didn't have a hard time, considering I always do this.

I gradually made my way to Lily's bed, making sure I was being as quiet as possible. I couldn't exactly tell if Lily was in her bed or not. It was too dark to tell.

I tip toed behind her bed and lightly adjusted my right knee onto her bed, making sure I was being as quite. I hunched over the pillows that had been placed on her bed, making sure she was safe. I scrunched my eyebrows, squinting my eyes, trying to comprehend if my eye sight was clear.

Was it true?

Was I actually seeing this?

Lily's gone.

I didn't take a minute to even think, I quickly got out of her bed and made my way out of her house, using the window. I ran over to her front porch, running up the few steps, making my way to her doorbell. I rang it numerous times, knocking as well.

Finally, after knocking and ringing, someone appeared in the door way. Chase.

"What the hell do you want Austin?" He groaned, I would do the same, considering it's very early in the morning. I was interrupting his beauty sleep. But it was for a very good reason.

"Is your um- mom an- and dad home?" I nervously asked. I wasn't exactly nervous, more like scared.

Billions of questions roamed my mind. Not one answer to be found. But I needed to know, I had to.

"Yeah, but why-"

"Please, it's important. Very." I spoke as he rolled his eyes, going upstairs.

Moments later, he returned back with his parents by his side.

"Hi Austin," His dad smiled lightly, rubbing his forehead, fixing his hair. "What's wrong, son?" He asked as he scrunched his eyes, waking up a bit.

I honestly didn't mind when he called me 'son'. I didn't have a dad growing up, and he was always like a dad to me. I was beyond grateful to have him.

"L-Lily." I choked out. "Have you seen her?" I asked, worried.

"Yes, last time I saw her was before bed. She's in her room." Her mom answered.

"Um, could you check, please?" I asked. They slowly nodded, confused as ever.

I didn't want to annouce to them I broke into there house. No. Like how would that sound? 'oh, yeah, hey, so I kind of broke into your daughters room- and yeah.'

"Sure, honey." Her mom replied as she let me into there oh so familiar home.

"Thank you," I mumbled under my breath, following them up the stairs that led to Lily's room.

Once we all walked into her room, her mom flicked on the lights, revealing an empty bedroom.

Her mom gasped, "Where is she?" She suddenly panicked. "Oh my god," She mumbled, as she looked as almost she was going to faint.
