"Don't leave me."

Austin's POV

I told the others everything, and currently we were on the way to the hut. 

Out of all the places, why the hut? I have no idea, but this place was always special.

When Lily and I were little, we use to always take camping trips up here and stay at the hut. Let's just say we weren't big fans of sleeping outside. I know it ruins the whole idea of a 'camping' trip, but the hut was big and spacey. 

We never saw anyone in it, so we just made it our place. It's actually pretty weird, but funny at the same time.

After a few years, we stopped going here. I guess it was because we were always busy and stuff to do, but I cherish every one of those days, because they were the absolute best.

Cheesy as it sounds, those days were the days I started falling in love with Lily. I would always love to make her laugh and just do anything to see her smile.

She was perfect and she always will be.

We finally arrived at the hut, I tensed up as the police men got out of the car, holding there gun securely in there hands. I just stood there, not moving.

I wasn't scared- in fact, I didn't know what I was feeling. I just knew I wanted to see Lily. I wanted to see her smile. I wanted to hold her in my arms. I wanted to kiss her. I wanted to tell her how much I love her. And I wanted to be there for her. 

We've been through everything together. Everything.

She's always been my rock, and I never really noticed it until I lost her. She's been the reasons I blush and smile uncontrollably. It's weird, but at the same time amazing, because I never felt this way, I- I never felt, love.

And love, it's scary- horrifying. But it's also wonderful. It makes me sad, but at the same time happy. As confusing as it sounds, Lily makes me bipolar. And I just don't know why, but I love it so much.

Everyone got out of the car, and I was still here zoning out in space. I shrugged my shoulders as I got out of the car.

I scanned the hut. 

So many memories... Good and bad, but it was sacred. Special, like I said earlier. Very special.

We walked in the house, surprisingly it was unlocked. We slowly made it in and nobody seemed to be in here. We all searched the house until we heard a noise. Everyone stood frozen as we slowly made our way to a bedroom.

As we got closer, I could here little movement, less by less, only making me worried more. Once we finally got there, I couldn't help but bust open the door, so I did- that's exactly what I did.

But I regretted it. Very much. Because right there, what stood in front of my eyes. Was heartbreaking. World shattering.

Lily.

But she wasn't okay.

She had cuts and bruises all over her body.

Her face was pale as ever, almost as if she was dead.

But she couldn't be.

She can't.

I stood frozen as my knees became weak, and I fell to the floor, crying hard. 

I couldn't look at her, it was too hard. 

This is all my fault. I should've watched her more often. I should've slept with her to keep her safe. I should've been with her. This all wouldn't of happened if I was with her, by her side. But I wasn't.

I sat there crying. Heart broken as ever, as the others comforted me and called the ambulance. I didn't stop crying until I couldn't at all. Literally, I tried, but nothing came out. So I just made crying sounds, because I was hurt- a lot.

Before I knew it, the paramedics took Lily away and I still was here, on the floor. I didn't move a muscle and I wasn't planning on it.

After sitting there for hours, I finally got up. My legs felt weak, not only from sitting there, but from Lily. She was so- so damaged. 

It killed me.

My mom and I took her car to the hospital. The whole drive was silent. She tried to talk to me, but I didn't even budge. She finally gave up, considering it was absolutely useless. 

Once we got there, I literally took all the force on my legs and ran to the nurse. 

Once I got there, I was heavily breathing considering I ran- very fast. Once I calmed down a bit, I worriedly asked the nurse, "Um, I-I'm here for L- Lily B- Brown." I stuttered, frantically. 

The nurse took her time, scanning through the files. Which made me pissed off. 

"Bitch," I muttered under my breath, luckily she didn't hear.

"Oh! Here it is," She chirped as she got out the folder with all of Lily's medical records.

Why the fuck is she happy about this?

"What room...?" I wandered off, hoping she would use her brain and answer my question. 

She scanned the file and finally opened her mouth to answer my question, "Room 747, but you can't go in. She's in serious condition, no one can see her at the moment, but we had some other people ask for her as well. I'm pretty sure they are sitting in the waiting room. I'll be sure to tell you guys if I hear anything." She smiled. I quickly thanked her and left to go to the waiting room. I rolled my eyes in fustration as I noticed Alex, Robert, Zach, and Sarah there.

They were my other friends. Only Alex was close to Lily, the rest of them weren't as close. But they cared for her. 

I made my way to them as they all engulfed me in a big group hug. I couldn't help but let tears shred.

I really hope Lily is okay, but by what I saw, she was lifeless.
