Normani pov
Dinah asked the girls and I to come to her house. We were gonna be in the talent show. I am heading over to her house now. Here's my outfit.
I get my book bag and head over.
When I go there, I notice, I'm the only one there. Well, except for Dinah obviously. I guess the others must be stuck in traffic or something.
"Hey, where are the rest?" I ask. She was sitting at the table in the kitchen. She was taking pictures.
"Oh, I told them to come at six." She answered, bringing her focus on me again. I was a little confused. Why would she tell me to come so early? Is this a set up or something? "Why?" I asked a little smartly, that's only because I am confused. "I'm tired of sugarcoating it. I like you, Normani. I asked Lauren to help me, but I decided the best person that could do it, is me. I wanted to ask you, will you go out with me?" She says/asks. I was surprised.
But I think I just have to think about it. If I explain it to her, maybe she'll understand I don't know if I'm gay, straight, or bi. I wish I could know, I mean by this stage of my life, I start getting in relationships, but I'm starting to find out now so I can't be so hard on myself.
"Dinah, you're pretty, cool, and you have a very interesting personality. But I'm very confused about my sexuality, I don't know if I'm attracted to males of females or even both! If you let me think for a little while, I can think it out because I'm so confused. I hope you'll wait for me." I say in the most honest and sorry voice I can. This has happened before but that person left me on the spot. Even though it hasn't been that long, I don't think Dinah is like that. She seems nicer that anyone I've ever met.
"Of course I'll wait for you. I want to be with you so badly that I'll wait a lifetime, I just want us. Take your time, you know my number." She said, understanding.I'm so glad she understands.
"Come here." She holds her hands out for a hug. I do the reciprocal and we hug. As soon as we hug, the girls came in.
"Finally, my ship had risen! Norminah is happening." Ally screams in happiness. We all laugh. "We're not dating at least not yet," I explain to the girls, relieved that Dinah understood.
"Well how about we do what we came here to do, homework." Lauren said hanging us out book bag. She is the mom of the five of us I swear. We go upstairs and do some homework.
