Dinah POV
It was five minutes until the bell rang, I was so happy. I couldn't wait to get out of this hell hole, and plus, I had to go to this meet and greet with the girls. I'm glad we're doing something good before we have to go back to court Wednesday.
Finally that bell rang, it damn near made my ears bleed. I grab Normani's hand and we start walking to her house so we can change.
"I have to use the bathroom be right back babe." She said. I nod and take a seat on one of the benches.
"Is this seat taken?" I take my eyes off my phone screen to reply to the familiar. To my surprise it was my ex-girlfriend, from the Little Mix group, her name was Jade. "It will be as soon as you sit down." I reply to her, creating a smile on my face.
She playfully rolls her eyes and sits down next to me. I put my phone away because I knew a conversation was about to start. "How've you been Jane?" She asks, turning to me putting her thigh onto the middle of the bench.
Since her name was Jade, she'd call me Jane, you know, to match. "Good, I've just been trying to handle a new career and high school. It's hard to manage, especially in my last year of high school. Also the fact were being sued, by you and your friends." I say to her, copying her position. She frowns at my last sentence. "I know, I didn't want to after I heard it was your group. It was Jesy's idea. To be honest I don't think the song sounds anything like y'all song." She said. I give her a annoying, but agreeing look. "Thanks, I'm not the only one after hearing the song. It's a good song, but it's very different from our song. You need drop to the case." I ask her nicely. She gives me a sympathetic smile, but it fades away and she put her hand gently on my shoulder.
"I wish I could love, but, I can't. I'm not the leader of the group. I can try to take to Jesy but, I can't promise you anything." She told me. I put my face down and nod, at least she's trying. This is why she was my first relationship, we always had a special connection.
We, after a long year later, we had to turn the other direction. It was because we had to manage a long distance relationship. I live in Florida and she's a Californian. That was going well until the wifi got really fucked up, soon did the relationship. I never lost my feelings for her, but they were kept in the far back of my heart. But I met Normani, and those feeling for her were getting pretty scarce. I hope if we start to hang out more we could possibly buld a friendship.
"How about we become friends again? I know we didn't work out as girlfriends but we can still be friends. Your relationship won't be corrupted either." She said, trying to cheer both us up, it did the trick though. I happily nodded and we started to talk a little more. Then, Normani came back.
"Sorry, I almost fell in-" she got cut off by me Jade turning to her. "Isn't that the girl from the court case?" She questions. I nod and reply, "yeah but don't get on her, she can't make any decisions because she's not the leader. Plus, we're friends." I explain to my girlfriend, she can get aggressive at times. She gives us two thumbs up. and smiles, I can tell it was fake smile but I let it go.
"Well Jade we have to go to a meet and greet." I say so me and Normani can go before the situation gets even more weird. "Hey, me too! I could give you a ride because mine is in the evening." She suggests. I nod and we get into her car.
She pulls up at our house. Normani gets out. "Thanks for the ride Jade. I'll see you tomorrow." I say with a sincere smile. She nods and I close the door and she drives off. Normani already unlocked the door so I just walk inside the apartment.
"Why are you hanging out with your exes?" She asks. Why is she acting so jealous? I'm in love with her, I'm dating her, not Jade!
"So what? I can befriend whoever I want. You should trust me enough to let me be friends with anybody I want! I hate when you do this! Now if you'll excuse me, I have a meet and greet to go to." I say that in a- well let's just say in a way you're not supposed to talk to your girlfriend. Well, damn, not even your mother. I throw away the stick from the lollipop and go upstairs. Did I just do that to my girl?
New chap bishes! Bye.
