I lie in bed, shedding multiple tears. Wow, so this is what it feels like? This is what it feels like to have your heart broke? This is a first, well not a first but it's a first for me hurting like this. Man that shows the love I had for Normani want to be. But I don't want to be with a cheater.
I asked her to be honest, not smart and blunt. But I guess that was her definition of honest, and maybe this is for the best.
I looked at my phone and realized I was added into a group chat.
Ally- hey ladies
Camila: she's alive!
Ally: and home, I couldn't wait to get out of there 😂
Dinah- hey 😶
Lauren- what's wrong DJ
Dinah- me and Normani broke up, and even worse she cheated on me
Lauren- well damn I haven't even talked to her in a few days either
Camila- I feel terrible for you. Look I know we've been arguing lately but let's put that past us. I see you need positivity right now and I'll give that.
Dinah- thanks you guys are pretty dope
Camila- dope, yes you could say that
Dinah- 😂 well I have to get dressed see you Cubans!

I put my phone back on it's charger and get up. I take a shower and get dressed.

"Look at them." I told my best friend full of jealousy. I was talking about Normani and Leigh-Ann. "Maybe this is for the best." She answered sympathetically. I just scoff, "this is for the best. Seeing my ex over there with another girl?" I spat still with a jealous tone. "Well if the relationship ended like this, and by that I mean her cheating on you, then it wasn't good from the start." She tells me. I have to admit she was right about it.
