Normani POV
Me and Leigh Ann are going on a date. We're doing this to see if we can take the "friends with benefits" title further. But our night didn't start off real good when I saw my ex and my sister together. This has to be payback because my sister used to live in Idaho.
"Did you come to ruin your night or enjoy yours?" India asked a little smartly. "We should ask you the same then." Leigh Ann says defensively. "You know what you guys? Go on we have a night to enjoy, we would like to enjoy it without you so excuse your selves." Dinah says. I roll my eyes and we walk to our table.
"So you use to date my sister?" I asked Leigh. She nods. "I didn't know that was your sister 'Mani." She replies innocently. I smile giving her the sign that's it's alright. We just have to give us some time, it isn't a lack of knowing each other type issue, we have almost everything in common.
"We have a whole lot of things in common, Normani. This date was a good idea." She happily expressed to me. I just smile like crazy, why didn't I feel like this with Dinah that much? I don't know, I just feel a better connection with Leigh-Ann at the moment.
"Is it weird that my connection feels way stronger than the one I had with Perrie? With me and her it was destiny, but when I started hanging out with you more, I just feel much more closer. Is that wrong?" She explained to me. She was feeling just like me! I knew it wasn't just a thought, we really have a bond. "Leigh- Ann, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked her nervously, I hope this is the right decision. "Yes!" She answers happily, then we share a kiss. This date night turned out well.
India's pov
"Ha, got you!" We were playing a game on our phones. This may not sound like the usual date, but it was working for us.
"Cheater." She mumbled, I smirked.
"Really level 34? That's the level I came 2nd place in, you can't beat that!"
I smirked at her. "That's what you think."
We started the game, I started to use weapons, I was winning. In a couple seconds I realized that both if our phone had went dead. Game over, literally.
"My phone dies really fast." She said. "Same." I guess neither of us wins.
"This was a great night." I said, getting a grasp on her hand. She smiles and nods. I want to ask her to be my girl, but she just got out of a relationship so I want to take it slow.
"I really want you to be mines, but it's too soon for me. I just got out of a relationship and I need to heal and get completely over her before I jump to the next relationship. We can talk and develop more feelings, I mean, if you're okay with that?" Dinah poured out to me, honestly, I was expecting that.
"I felt the same way, friends for now?"
She smiled, which followed up with a nod. This night wasn't that bad.
