I woke up, and I realized something, I haven't heard from Lauren in a while, that's unusual. Hopefully she comes to school today because she hasn't been coming either. Anyways, let me get ready for school.

After that I called up Dinah so we can meet up, she comes about ten minutes after.
"Hey, 'Mani." She says, pecking my lips. "Hey, um, have you talked to Lauren lately?" I asked her, tilting my head to the side. "I was going to ask you the same thing, she hasn't texted me since we had that sleep over about, three weeks ago?" She said, walking in to my kitchen, grabbing a granola bar and water. "Right! Hopefully she comes to school or I'm going over her house."
First period...
I was sitting in class doing my work, and then I had the urge to pee. I got the pass and went, you don't have to ask but the passes have to be there.
I was walking down the hall and saw Lauren, I ran to her.

"Lauren!" I screamed as I ran up to her and hugged her. She gently pushed me back, "take it easy there." She chuckled, putting her headphones around her neck. "Why haven't you been coming to school." I asked her. "I haven't been the best lately. I've been throwing up and sleeping a lot, I don't know what's wrong with me." She said holding her stomach. "Did you go to the doctors?"
She shook her head. "I haven't gotten around to it, and I thought it'd stop in the next few days." She explained.
I sighed, poor Lauren. "Well let's go to class, we don't want your grades to start dropping."
I went back to class and sat next to Dinah. "I saw Lauren, she was sick." I whispered to her. "I know she texted me." She whispered back. I just sigh and continue my work.
Dinah pov
I was sitting in class doing my work when my phone buzzed. It was Lauren.

I silently gasp, I get the pass and run to the bathroom.
I go in there and hear someone throwing up, its Lauren.
I go in there and hold her braids since her hair is long. "Some thing is up with you Lauren, throwing up and shit." I said as she continued to throw up.
"Stomach virus or something." She said, as I let go of her hair and she stands up. I gave her the last of my water and some gum. She gargles, spits and then pops in the gum. We leave and go to class, the teacher didn't even notice she was gone. But everybody was talking about how they missed her, phoney asses you just was talking about her!
At Lauren's Place
"Khristian will be here in five, I have to use the bathroom," Lauren said then went upstairs to the bathroom. It was me, Normani and Ally, just sitting there staring blankly into space.
Ally sighed and shook her head, "any of you thinking what I'm thinking?"
My eyes widened as I figured out what she meant. "No, no guys. She's smarter than that."
"You sure?" Normani questioned. I shook my head and put it down. It shot back up as soon as I heard the door open, it was Khristian.
"Where is she?" He said, putting his book bag down on the other couch and sitting next to it. "She's upstairs in the bathroom. Um, we been thinking that maybe it's more than just a stomach ache Khristian."
He stood up, putting his hand into his face. I felt really bad, I did.
"I've known Lauren for 12 years and I'd never think we take it this far." He said. "Y'all met in elementary?" Normani asked raising a brow. He nodded, his face still in his hands. "What do you mean?" Ally asked. "Me and Lauren-"
"No, no, no, no, no!" We heard as she ran down the stairs. "What?!" We all said worriedly. "I'm pregnant."
