A little over three weeks later....
Lauren's pov
Today I'm going over my parents house to tell them the news, they're going to be grandparents. We're going over there at 2 and it's 11 and it's a hour drive so let me get ready.
Lauren's outfit
Today's a Saturday and we're staying the night so I put a outfit inside my red overnight bag. I finished and went downstairs to see Khristian making breakfast.
Khristian's outfit
"Hey baby," I greeted him with kiss. I then sit down and get on Instagram. "You want some breakfast?" He asked as he showed me a full plate of breakfast. His eyes widened at the speed that I snatched the plate at and began eating.
"Damn, you're welcome." He chuckled as he grabbed him a plate as sat down across from me. "Thank you." I murmured as I had a mouth full of food. He laughed and began eating.
We finished and left out, I let Khristian drive.
"Babe?" I looked up by him calling me. "Yes." I replied. "I'm scared," he said, and I raised an eyebrow, "scared of what?"
He didn't answer me until we got to the red light. Then he sighed, "what if they don't think I'd be a good father, that I'm just a boy that their daughter is dating? Maybe you might see it too and... leave me."
I looked down, "I kind of expected this. My parents are very strict, they wanted me to be married, have a house and a good man, and a career. But so far I've only two of those things. Oh yeah I was worried too. I live in a two bedroom apartment with a small ass bathroom and a medium sized kitchen, I mean I got a studio and whatnot but still, it's not what they want. Hell they'd probably only like the fact I'm a singer."
He pulled he car over a little roughly. "Damnit Lauren! For the whole spring I've been hearing you always talk about how at the end of May when you see your parents you want to impress them! Nothing's perfect Lauren! You're not going to be exactly what your parents want you to be, and that's fine because look at you now, you're probably not what they expected but you're what you want to be. You can't impress everyone Lauren, not me not them."
He opened my mirror. "This may not be the girl they expect to see, but it's someone you expect to see. You're perfect just the way you are, and if they don't like it, well that's just them, they can't take a paint brush and make you, they can't. You're fine baby, and you've always been."
He kissed me, I smiled into the kiss. We soon pulled away. "You're always here to cheer me up baby." I cheesed. He chuckled and smiled, then we got back on the road.
We soon arrived, we got our and walked to the door, I got nervous as I raised my hand up to knock. "I got it babe," he said as he knocked. I looked up by the sound of the creak of the door, to see my mother, Clara.
"Baby! Look at you! Come, come in, guys." She said, at first with a shocked emotion. Then she signaled us to come in the house.
"How've you and dad been mom?" I asked as I was looking around the house.
She frowned as she sat at the table in the dining room. Me and Khristian sat with her. "Um, Lo', me and your dad broke up about three months ago, the divorce is pending still but we're no longer together." She explained to me. I nodded sadly, and Khristian held me.
"So, I heard you and Camila are done and I'm glad, I always thought she wasn't good for you. So who's this handsome gentlemen?"
I smiled, "hi Mrs. Jauregui, I'm Khristian, Lauren's boyfriend, I thought I'd introduce myself." He chuckled, kissing her hand. "Such a gentlemen, you've got a keeper Lauren." My mother said, she looked pretty impressed by her facial expression.
"You know, Lauren, I haven't seen you in a while. It's there anything that you have to tell me?"
"Actually there is, mom. You're going to be a grandmother."
Cliffhanger, I hope you like, bye!
