Camila POV

{The next day}

I was sitting at home doing my homework when I got a call from Normani. I answered it quick in case it's important.

"Hello?" I say putting the phone on speaker setting it on the table to continue my homework. "'Mila? I need Jade's number. We're starting the case on who shot Ally. Kehlani's on the case and she had me down at the department yesterday and I told the story. She could probably piece this up and we can find this person." She tells me. I start to get excited. I tell her the number and we hang up. But before we hung up, I told her we were meeting up at Lauren's house. I get dressed.

"Guys I'm telling you she's not going to rat." Lauren said, and after she started laughing. We just give her a very annoyed look and she stopped laughing.

"I'm serious, Jade is a punk. If the person who did this found out she did it, she wouldn't still be standing. If much worse, living." Lauren explains, I can't believe Lauren had no faith in this.

"Why don't you have any faith in this?" I asked furiously. "You know I used to be friends with Jade. I use to warn her not to tell anything. She'd always nod and give me a scared look. I'm telling you." Lauren replied. She started laughing again.

"Lauren this isn't funny. We need and you know where she lives. We need you on this! Now help." Dinah demands, with a tiny attitude. "Well now I'm not helping with that attitude." Lauren scoffs. Then they start arguing. Normani was trying to help and started arguing along with them. I was the only one left and I'm not about to be pulled into this.

"Everyone stop fussing! This is childish! Do you realize this is not gonna help us find out who did this to Ally?" I exclaimed. They all stop and look at me. I sigh and look at Lauren. "We need you on this Lauren. Can you please just tell us where Jade lives? We can go and talk to her. She might not be in her punkish little ways, anymore." I ask her softly, doing it the opposite way of Dinah. She nods sympathetically and pulls out her phone. She says the address and we get in Lauren's car and drive over there.

Jade's POV

I was sitting at my coffee table nervously. Why would she do this? Yeah I know that Ally was messing around with Leigh-Ann but that doesn't mean you shoot her! This is the part when it comes back on me. I'm the only person that knows who did it. Does that mean they expect me to tell? They actually want me to turn that person in? If they do, they're crazy.

I've been trying to avoid the girls as much as I can. I saw Normani walking into the police department. She was with Lauren and Kehlani which is a detective. They need another piece of this case. I have it, but I'm definitely not giving it up.

I heard a knock at the door. I flinched at the knock because of what I'm going through right now. I slowly walk through the living room to my front door. I look through the peak hole to see Lauren, Dinah, Camila, and Normani! Wow they really want this last piece. I answered the door.

"Hi Jade." The Cubans greeted me politely. I just fake smiled back and let them in.

"Look you called Camila and said that Ally had been shot. That must mean you were there at the moment of the shooting. We really need you to tell us who this was." Dinah says to me. Well damn, who's the detective here?

"Guys you know I only saw Ally's body laying on the ground." I lie, I'm not snitching on my best friend. They must think I'm a rat.

"Yes you do. When you called me I heard that person in the background. You were telling them to run. Yep I have a good left ear don't I?" Camila said walking up to me, uncovering my lie. I sigh heavily and walk to the kitchen. "So you guys think I would really snitch? You must be crazy! I'm not a rat!" I spat back.

"Well we're gonna get it from you. One way, or another." Lauren warned me. They storm out of my house. Thank God they're gone, at least for now.

New chapter bishes. I know I said I'll do a double update but the chapter wasn't publishing. Bye!
