61: Lemme Find Out pt.1

Alana pov

  Today I'm thinking about asking Ally to marry me. I know everyone is just getting to know about our relationship but I've been with her secretly for about two years and I'm ready. I'm asking Normani for help because I'm really close to her and that's Ally's best friend.

  As I was eating, I heard a knock at the door. I got up and opened it to see Normani. We greeted each other and sat down in the kitchen while we both ate some cereal.

  "I don't know how to do this proposal, honesty," I said poking my bottom lip out, "I've never really done anything as big as this for a person before."

  Normani smiled, "that's where I come in handy. I've already got mines planned and I'm gonna use a little bit from mines: make Ally believe your cheating or your unhappy, then as she's humble, propose. But the thing is, it can't be something really bad, then you'll probably get a 'hell no' and a middle finger."

  I thought about what she said for about five seconds then my eyes lit up. "I've got an idea that I'll share later, but first, let's go ring shopping!"

*Pandora*

  We were looking for rings and I didn't see anything I liked. I know that Ally wants a silver ring instead of a gold one, she hates gold!

  "Ally has small fingers so we aren't in the right section, how 'bout over here?"

  She pointed to this wall full of shiny, engagement rings, and I found two that really caught my eye.

  "It's out of these two," I said as I picked up the displays and showed them to Normani. She grinned, "your in luck, this one is an engagement and this one is a wedding ring."

  Wow, I just got a whole package. "Alright, let's hurry up and buy."

  We paid for them and left out. We went into the food court and I saw Ally and the girls, now this is where my plan begins.

  I didn't answer Ally all morning, so she might be a little pissed which is okay because she's not an overreactive person.

  We got some food and started a conversation. I could see the trio walking up to us in the corner of my eye.

  "Hey, I see you two made plans." Ally said, with her perfectly arched eyebrow rising and a unsatisfied smile creating on her face.

  "Yeah," I replied nervously. Normani was confused but I gave her the signal to play along.

  "You didn't answer me all morning, why?" She questioned. I pull out my phone and attempt to turn it on, but it lets me know it's dead. She nods understandingly and they join us.

  "Um, hate to break this up but me and Alana have to go." Normani said grabbing my hand and leaving the trio. She smirked at me as we walked away and I smirked back, the plan is working perfectly.

  "I know you guys aren't thinking what I'm thinking." Dinah said. Ally sighed, "I'm starting to."

  "These rings are astonishing." I said as I admired both rings as they were set up perfectly on the bed, still in their boxes but the tops opened. "Sure are," Normani agreed, "Ally is going to be a lucky girl."

  "Babe!"

  "Oh shit that's Dinah and and the others, quick hide in here!" Normani whispered, dragging me into this little room. She shushes me as I squirm around, I stopped as I heard the trio's loud footsteps.

  "They're not here," Lauren said. "I don't know why they're so cooped up together, it makes me wonder."

  "I don't think Alana would do that to me, she'd never!"

  "Normani's did it to me, but I don't think she'd do it again."

  "When they come back we have to talk to them, but mean while, we have to got to the studio and record our parts, Normani will just have to do hers later."

  Then we heard thumping and then a door shutting. We then came out and soon was startled by the trio standing there, luckily I left the rings in the closet.

  "Ahah! What are you two doing in there?" Dinah exclaimed.

  "Cleaning up," Normani scoffed, "somebody had to help me!"

  "Lemme find out."
