Normani pov
"Where is she?"
We were all at Lauren's house waiting for her, it's about 5:30pm and she's still isn't here!
"I don't know but I'm about to start the movie so she's gonna have to miss some of it." Ally chuckled as she got up to turn on the movie. We all jump as Lauren comes flying through the door with a very mad face.
"Damn, what's wrong?" I asked. "Everyone at school is always fucking criticizing everyone! I swear it gets on my lasts nerves.
Her face was red as hell. "Calm down baby," Khristian told her worriedly, it's not good for the kid."
"Neither is it for me, I'm sorry but I'm dropping out and it's nothing anyone can do to change my mind!"
She then stomped up the stairs. Ally speechlessly got up and started the movie. We just watched it in silence.
//The Next Day, Lauren's pov//
My alarm had went off, and as I rolled over to turn it off, Khristian stops me.
"Get up baby."
I rolled me eyes, "I told you, I don't go to school," I groaned. "Then I guess you like F's," he shook his head while I shrugged my shoulders, "maybe I do."
"Ah honey, I'll never understand some things about you."
He got his clothes and left out of the room to the bathroom. I just fall right back asleep.
I woke up, to see my best friend sitting beside me, which made me flinch.
"Today was so fun," she ranted happily. I sighed, "don't even tell me about it."
"Aww," Dinah manipulates, "is the drop out sad?"
She starts laughing, I keep a mean straight face while she does. She gets the gist and stops laughing.
"I'm just kidding, but damn I don't want you sitting in the house, avoiding school like a pussy. You're not one, so don't act like one! So what? Yeah somebody picks on you, but does that mean you run from them, if you're a pussy you do, but a girl like you wouldn't, my BestFriend, wouldn't."
I smiled at Dinah's words, she was right, I can't run from my problems. I just never got picked on before, so I ran out on it, but now I need to understand, this is high school, it's not gonna be perfect.
"Thanks Dinah," I said, still smiling and sitting up to give her a hug. She returns the smile and the hug and we soon get out of my room and meet every one downstairs.
"Guess, who's starting school tomorrow?!" I yell as I finished my trip down the stairs. Every one cheered.
"Thanks, I didn't want my baby to be a failure, you're better than that." Khristian said hugging me, and kissing my forehead. "Can I just say that y'all are just the perfect couple?!" Normani shrieked quietly, which caused us to laugh.
"We know, we know. But any way, who's up for some Denny's?"
Everyone raised their hands high. We share a quick laugh and leave out.
