20: Closer

Normani's pov

I was walking to the hospital to visit Ally. Turns out it wasn't a coma, she was just in a really needed deep sleep. She woke up three hours after I left, says the doctor. I heard Leigh-Ann is going to be there.

I walk in to see her sitting next to Ally holding on to her hand while they were talking. I knock on the wall, trying to get there attention on me.

"I guess I'm interrupting something?" I question as they stop their conversation and look at me. "No, we were just catching up. I really missed my baby." Leigh Ann said. I got to tell you, together they are pretty cute.

She looked at me and smiled, "so I heard you guys went up to the police department. What happened?" She said to me.

I sighed before replying. "Well I had the story up to who did it and we needed the last piece. We asked Jade-"

I got cut off by a sound of laughter. It was Leigh Ann. "You really thought she was gonna rat. Come on guys." She says, getting the last few giggles out of her system.

"Well Lauren was saying that but we needed to try, and she was right." I admitted sadly. I looked at Ally. "Ally I was up here two days ago. Don't you still remember who did it?" I ask her, realizing the person with the story is right in front of me. "Normani I completely forgot everything. I almost forgot I was shot. I just got the story back from Dinah earlier and I don't remember the person." She said to me, shaking her head. I look at Leigh Ann, she had to know it's her girlfriend, probably ex but she still knows her.

"Of course I know. I will come down to the police department tomorrow. I want to get her locked up as fast as she can be." She told me. I felt a sense of relief rush through my bones. I thank her and soon leave.

Next day at the police department

"Well, who do you have here?" Kehlani asked. "This is Leigh-Ann. Ally's girlfriend, she's here to tell us who did it." I explain.

"What happened to Jade?" She asks. "That punk didn't want to confess. Since she didn't want to, we found a person that isn't afraid to speak." I said, scoffing at my first sentence. She nods and we go to the talking table.

Leigh-Ann pov

"So Ma'am, you are the ex currently of the shooter?" She asks me. I nod in agreement. "Alright go ahead and talk." She says to me, giving me the floor. I sigh and start speaking. "Well the person that shot Ally was Perrie." I admit but I got a little cut off by two gasping females. "Perrie Edwards?!" Kehlani questioned, pulling the glasses off her face. I nod. "She's been on the run for six years! She killed tons of people." Kehlani told me. I have never heard of Perrie being any criminal. Trust me, I don't date criminals. I don't have a record nor do I want one. "I never knew she was a... Criminal." I say a little sadly. "Don't worry it's not your fault. But what you have to do is find her." She says.

"I'll drive you to her place and you can arrest her. I call her my ex but we haven't officially broken up yet. I'll go over there and break up with her and you can step in with your crew and arrest her." I suggest to Kehlani. She nods and me and Normani gets in Kehlani's car and Kehlani and her crew get in this secret orange car. We are closer and closer to arresting her, no one shoots my baby.
