My Song

Music is the essence of life

Every melody and chord

full of enlightenment and joy,

the sounds blowing on the breeze

into the soul and heart of creation.

Little boys giggling

as they play catch,

chasing after one another

with laughter in the air.

Stopping for a quick moment

to give a kiss,

then wipe it away

as they run along.

This is my song.
