She Finally Breaks

This girl ashamed to feel, afraid to trust.

Lets someone in for once.

She allows him to get in close

to know the difference in love or foe.

And then all at once it comes crashing down

and her sweet smile turns to a frown.

She stands strong like a wall

so she will not fall.

To free the tears hidden in her face

all she needs is a warm embrace.

Another comes to destroy her walls.

They succeed as she falls.

The tears break free from her face.

And someone gives her a warm embrace.

And she breaks down in his arms.
