When I am with You

When I am with you

I forget the real world.

The only thing I see is you.

Nothing penetrates my mind,

making me fall apart.

Then when we separate

a force comes

and knocks me down.

I cry and wonder why.

I wish and pray

for life to hurry up.

So that I can fly away.

I dream of our next meeting.

If only you knew what your smile means to me.

What your hugs make me forget.

How I long for that perfect kiss.

When I hear you laugh,

I know I am doing something right.

When I am with you

I never want to leave,

but time will not slow down.
