Secret Message

To be a decoded message

within a book,

the underlying purpose

that drove the author

to write, allowing the

reader to unscramble the

letters to peer into the

depths or shallows of

the writer's soul. 

Decode my message. 

Quit playing Scramble

with parts of me, and

just peer into my soul

to feel what I feel. 

Understanding within your

grasp as long as you

keep turning the pages. 

If you leave me a mess 

of unsolved mysteries

then maybe no one

will ever really know

the message

or me.
