long after you leave?
Will you think of all the times
we spent together in each other's arms?
Will you remember the start
and mend my broken heart?
Can we stay suspended
in the perfect time of our journey?
Will you lie to me
and leave me stranded on the street?
Will you walk away
without regret or remorse?
Will you look back
and smile knowing that you hurt me?
Or will you cry knowing what you left behind?
Just come back to me,
so I will not worry
about all the things
that I know
will never be true.
