Undefined

Words float around my mind

yet each word is too defined.

I search for one that can contain

the meaning of all my pain.

The word that you left behind

only for me to find.

Like a puzzle in a book

I take just one more look.

I see inside the lines

viewing strength taller than the pines.

Feeling ready for another adventure

yet I am still not sure.

Watching the clouds dance on their floor

as if nothing could close their inner door.

Now I am left to ponder away a mystery

to end all my misery.

Smiling pass all those memorable nights

your ghost is like flashing lights.

Returning to my mind briefly

then leaving oh so quickly.

Let's rejoice for what we had

remember the good and not the bad.

To love once, you can love twice

only next time it will be twice as nice.

Don't forget me in your heart

because that would be the worse part.

Live forever, die today, but you will never fade.

This word has traveled far away.

However, it is written upon every line,

love's the word, never to be defined.
