What's Our Plan?

Only God knows

and only Time can tell.

When I am in your arms

your heartbeat next to mine,

all those fears

race back and shake my heart.

Is your touch just

a simple step in the dance?

Or are you saying all those lies.

I have heard them all,

but when the truth rolls around,

how do I know

when to believe?

The spark in your eye

the tears on your cheeks.

Is it all part of the scene?

Or do you truly feel

like I'm the one?

I want so much,

learn so little,

dream beyond what's necessary,

and pray for the day to arrive

when we both

will finally know....
