Love vs. Life

You are the only one

I want in my heart.

We are far from done,

I don't want to part.

Your life is taking you away,

leaving me here alone to wait.

If only you could stay.

I hope you don't bite another's bait.

This love I have is strong,

it can carry us to a magical place,

but somehow this is all wrong.

I close my eyes and see your sweet face.

What is the answer to our hearts?

If only fairy talks came true.

I believe you will break mine to parts,

but I will still love you.
