Two Halfs Make A Whole (A Minecraft Fallout Adam x Cory Fanfic)

Chapter Three

Adam nodded, looking outside of the cave to see the moon sinking in the sky and the sun beginning to come up. "Well, go get your supplies and stuff. The others will be looking for me soon anyways."
Cory nodded and ran back into the dark cave, coming back out with a backpack and two guns strapped to his belt. Adam smiled and nodded before leading Uni and Cory back to the abandoned houses.

When they got there, Adam told the other two to be quiet, because he wanted to surprise the others. They nodded and hid behind the house, where there was no windows. Adam nodded and gave them a thumbs up before walking into the small house to see the rest of the group starting to wake up.

Nick looked at Adam while blinking sleep out of his eyes. "Where have you been? Shouldn't you be sleeping?"
"Well... I found something... a surprise... come outside and I'll show you."
Before he turned, he heard Nick mutter under his breath 'I hope it's mushroom stew or bottle caps...' which made Adam chuckle and reply. "Even better Nick, you'll see." He then promptly left the house and leaned against the side of it, waiting for the others to follow.

They eventually did, Nick carrying most of the supplies before handing a backpack to Adam, who took it and smiled a little. He coughed slightly before looking towards the back of the house.
"Ok, you two, come say hi to the others."
Nick and Dawn looked confused for a second before Cory and Uni walked around the back and smiled.
"Hey guys, it's been a while." Cory said and ran up to Dawn and Nick, followed by Uni.
The four of them hugged (well, Dawn kind of hugged since he doesn't have arms) and Adam stood against the house, smiling. He was really happy that Cory was back but then again, he couldn't stop this firey feeling in his chest. He wished he knew what it was and what fueled it, but he just couldn't seem to figure it out.

He must have snapped out of it because when he was back, he found Cory basically had him in a death hug. Adam chuckled and hugged back.
"I think we all missed you..." he said and Cory looked up at him, nodding. Thanks to Cory being so close to him, Adam's face started to heat up but Cory pulled back before he could notice. Adam stood there, surprised that that would happen. He shoved his face into his jacket, hoping that his face would cool off. Once again, he didn't know this feeling, but he did like it.
