I sat with my phone in my hands and looked down at it. I haven't talked to Liam since the drug thing. I forgave Niall so I know that I will forgive Liam. It's just really hard to imagine that Liam of all people would do such a stupid thing. Niall I could predict, but Liam? Did not see that one coming.
Niall had asked me and Liam to go with him to Ireland for Christmas. It was such a lovely gesture and it made my heart flutter that he wanted me to meet his family so soon. And he invited Liam to which gives Niall an extra plus in the book.
I didn't know what Liam would think of the idea of going to Ireland. If you ask me I think it would be good for us. To be around some families. That would be the first time celebrating any holiday with anyone since our parents died.
I miss them everyday but I still manage to live so I guess what some people say is true. Time heals all wounds. Or at least some of them. I don't believe that all wounds ever heal. There will always be a part of me that would be weak and fragile when it came to my parents.
It was around times like Christmas or our birthdays that were the hardest. You're supposed to spend the holidays with your family, friends and loved ones. And when the ones you love are ripped away from you in just seconds you don't know what to do. How to react, what to do.
How are you supposed to live on?
But life does go on and the sun will rise the next day. No matter what you do, a new day will come and life continues. After a while it gets easier.I found myself staring out of the window. The heavy snowflakes was falling down on the ground, creating a mess in the heart of London. I had never really a fan of snow but it was so beautiful to watch. How the snow falls down and creates a whole new world. And the Christmas lights shines from the streets. Christmas is really a beautiful time.
"Whatcha thinking about, babe?" Niall's voice interrupted my thoughts and I turned my head to watch him. He was wearing a pair of grey sweatpants and his hair was steamed since he had just gotten out of the shower. I saw the tattoos on his chest and arms. The black and grey ink was traced all over his bare upper body."Just that I should call Liam." I said while Niall sat down beside me and pulled me onto his lap. He played with my hair while looking at me.
"Yeah, I think you should." He nodded and I unlocked my phone. I found Liam's number and pressed on it and taking it up to my ear. I heard it ring for like 3 times before he picked up. I took a deep breath before speaking.
"Hi Li." I said into the phone and I could hear his breathing,
"Hi Lex." he said and it grew silent.
"I'm sorry for getting angry at you Li. I just wish you could have told me. We don't keep secrets from each other." I mumbled.
"Yeah, I'm sorry too. I was an idiot for doing something like that and for lying to you." He excused himself.
"Now we're done with lying. So now over to a new subject. What are you planning on for Christmas?" I asked.
"Umm about that.." He started but then I heard a girl giggle on the other end of the phone.
What the hell?!
