Chapter 48

"The food was amazing mum!" Greg said while we helped Maura cleaning up the table. "Thank you dear." Maura replied and left a kiss on his cheek. Everyone gathered in the living room and I went over to sit with Niall. He sat on the couch and I found my way between his legs. My back was against his chest as he played with my hair. Maura stood in the middle of the room and was about to talk.

"Thank you so much for coming. I love all the company I can get and having this many here is really a blast. I have known all you boys for ages, I have talked to the girls on Skype before so I feel like I know you guys and then there is the last one, Lexie." I looked at Maura while she was smiling. "You are now a part of this family either you want it or not. I know that you and Niall are right for each other. So cheers to everyone!" She said and raised her glass of wine. "Cheers!" Louis yelled. Some other raised their classes or beers. I just sat there with my 7up. Niall took a swing at his beer as Maura walked towards us. I raised myself up from Niall to meet her.

"Thank you so much Maura. You have no idea how much this means to me." I said and felt a few tears start to form in my eyes. Maura noticed and a worried look took over her face.

"Oh dear. Come with me." I nodded my head as I followed her into the kitchen and sat down by a little dining table. "What's wrong Honey?" Maura asked while stroking my hand. I squeezed her hand and she gave me a little smile. Wow, I was emotional tonight.

"I don't know how much Niall have told you about my family but do you know that I am Liam's little sister?" I asked and she nodded her head and waited for me to continue. "When Liam and I were younger, we lost our parents in a car accident. I don't mean to seek attention or anything, it's just that around times like Christmas or our birthdays it get's hard. And now when you said I am a part of this family, it makes me really happy and it warms my heart. I haven't been a part of a family in a really long time. Thank you so much." I smiled and dried the tears that had fallen down my cheeks.

Maura looked speechless and pulled me in for a hug. This family really liked hugging. When we pulled away she had a few tears in her eyes as well. "Oh don't cry!" I said to her and she laughed. "I'm sorry. So sorry about what happened. But you're a part of here now." She said and I flashed a toothy smile. "Now let's get back in there" She said and we walked back into the living room were everyone was watching Nothing Hill. I sat back down between Niall's legs and he pulled me closer.

"Are you okay, babe?" I asked and I nodded my head. "I just really love this movie." He nodded and left a kiss on my cheek. And for the first time after many years, Liam and I were finally a part of this family. And I couldn't be more happy.

"I am so tired." I said to Niall as the movie finished. He chuckled and raised himself up from the couch. "We're going to bed." he announced. I said goodnight to the girls and Maura and then went over to say goodbye to Greg and Denise.

"Bye. It was lovely to meet you." I said as I gave them one last hug.

"It was a pleasure to meet you Darling. And by the way, you are great with kids." Denise complimented me and I thanked her. Niall came after me and said goodbye as I took one last look at Theo. He was asleep in Denise arms and he was so beautiful. I want to have kids some day. That's for damn sure. But I am a bit to young now.

Niall and I waked up the stairs and down the long hallway to the bed room we were staying in. Our room was kinda away from the other ones but I didn't mind. Niall closed the door behind us after we had entered.

"Could you help me with the zipper?" I asked him referring to my dress. He walked over and pulled the zipper slowly down and then helped the dress of my shoulders. I shuddered under his cold touch and he slowly turned me around. I was just in my underwear and started to blush. Niall looked at me with dark eyes and pulled me closer to him. I could feel his erection pressing onto me and I took my bottom lip between my teeth.

"God, you're beautiful." He whispered right before his lips came crashing onto mine. And I knew for sure that we were going to go further tonight.
