Chapter 54

Later that day had Liam and Danielle decided that they were going to tell everyone in our friend group which we also called our family. Harry, Louis, Zayn, Perrie and Eleanor were coming over for dinner later and then Dani and Li was going to announce the pregnancy. I was just really relived that Liam took it well. If he had stormed out of the house I didn't know what to do but thankfully everything went well.

I was now helping Danielle to set the table while Liam and Niall were in the kitchen and making dinner. Liam and Danielle lived in quite a big house. It sometimes made me wonder were Liam got the money from. I really don't hope it's from drug dealing or something similar to that. Does Danielle know about the drugs they took that time?

I shook the thought away. That was in the past. Both Liam and Niall promised that they would never do it again. I don't like the past. I like how things are now. Me and Niall together, Liam and Danielle expecting a child and the people who are now my best friends.

"I'm relived it went that well." Danielle said in her thick accent, making me smile. "Liam would never leave Dani. He loves you and your little baby." I said and her smile lighted up the room. We finished laying out the plates, forks, knives and setting out the glasses I yawned. Danielle walked over to be and stood in front of me, grabbing me by my shoulders.

"You have no idea how much you've helped me today. I didn't know what do to and I would never find the courage to tell Li without your help. Thank you so much." She said and I felt tears forming in the corner of my eyes. It had always been Liam and I since our parents death but now our family was growing. I was going to become an aunt for fucks sake! That's so cool. So much is happening, so much changes but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the whole wide world.

"Anything for you Dani." I assured her and then a few tears fell from my eyes. I smiled so she didn't think I was hurt or anything. "What's going on here?" Niall asked as he walked into the dining room and wrapped his arm around my waist. "Just a girl moment." Danielle said in a high pitch voice and batted her eyelashes which made us laugh. She left the room leaving Niall and I alone. "I love you." I said and kissed him lightly on the lips. "I love you too." He responded. "You're going to be an aunt." He smirked and I laughed. "And you're going to be an uncle. For the second time." He smirked even more and nodded proudly. Gosh how much I loved him. A month ago we were strangers and now I love him more than anything.

"We're here!" Perrie screamed as they all entered the door. Niall and I was lying on the couch just resting. "Everyone into the dining room!" Danielle yelled. I could hear in her voice that she was nervous but also excited. Niall raised up from the couch and I jumped on his back. He walked into the dining room and I sat next to Harry and Niall. I said hi to everyone and Liam served everyone food. As we finished I could tell that Danielle was impatient. We were all sitting and small chatting when Liam and Danielle raised themselves up from their chairs. The room grew quiet and we were all waiting for them.

"So Danielle and I have something to announce!" Liam said excited and his eyes were filled with happiness. I loved seeing him like this.

"Are you guys moving?!" Louis yelled and they shook their heads while letting out a little laugh.

"I'm pregnant." Danielle said and everyone gasped. Then came the screaming and then the cheering.

"Are you joking?" Eleanor asked and Danielle shook her head. Perrie had started crying happy tears, Eleanor was shocked and all the boys were congratulating Liam and Dani. When everyone had finally calmed down they were going to talk again.

"Liam and I were talking in the kitchen earlier today and we would really like if you, Lexie would be the godmother." My eyes grew wide and it felt like I was chocking, Everyone looked at me and waited for me to give my answer but I had frozen. "Lexie?" Harry nudged my shoulder and I woke up from my little daze.

"M-me?" I stuttered. They nodded their heads. I was really flattered. The reason why it had surprised me was that they could have chosen Eleanor, Perrie or one of the boys but they did choose me.

"I would love to!" I yelled and Danielle squealed. She came and gave me a hug which I gladly returned. I was so happy now that it almost seemed unreal.

Everyone had moved into the living room and we were all playing board game and cards. We were all having a pretty good time and then Liam stood in front of us. Everyone grew quiet once again. What the hell was happening now?

"Dani come here." Liam took her hand and then he turned her so she was facing him.

"You are the best thing that has happened to me. You pulled me out of a dark place and I don't know what I'm supposed to do without you. I have loved you for a really long time and I know that I want you forever. We're having a child. Everything moves forward." Liam went down on one knee and everyone in the room gasped. He pulled out a velvet box and opened it, flashing a gorgeous diamond ring. "So Danielle Claire Peazer, would you please do me the honour and marry me?"

"Oh... Liam I would love too!" She yelled and Liam placed the ring around her finger and spun her around. I was in shock. "Omg, did that really happen?" I asked Niall and he was smirking. Why was he? Oh wait a minute. "You knew!" I said and he laughed. "What did you think we did all day? Liam and I picked out a ring." He shrugged like it was no big deal. I hit him in the chest and he pulled me in for a kiss. The kiss was very good I have to say and I smiled. Perrie and Eleanor screamed and ran up to Danielle to check out her ring. This day had been exhausting but I was so happy on Danielle and Liam's behalf.
