Chapter 44

"Lexie, we have to get going!" Niall yelled from the living room. The last two days had gone by so quickly with all the packing and stuff. Danielle and I had gone out shopping in Oxford Street for some dresses for Christmas Eve and buying presents for everyone. And also Niall had helped the guys get packed. I was really excited to celebrate Christmas in Ireland with Niall's family, the boys and their girlfriends. I've never met Eleanor and Perrie before but from what I have heard they sound really sweet.

"Lexie!" Niall yelled again and I wanted to rip his throat out. Don't get me wrong: I wasn't mad at him or anything it's just when people yell at me or repeat things like a 100 times, I get irritated. When Liam and I were younger he always used to do things to irritate me. Things like poke me on the shoulder, scream or when I was seven .and played with barbie dolls he always used to throw them around the room. Just to irritate me.

"Niall, if you don't shut up now then I'm not going!" I fired back at him and I heard him chuckle.

"Sorry babe. It's just that if we don't go now we're going to miss our flight." He he said softly as I walked into the living room, dragging my grey suitcase behind me. I looked into a mirror that hanged on the wall and studied my tired face. I had a hard time this morning trying to cover up the black bags under my eyes. No matter how much sleep I got, I would still have those bags under my eyes. Sometimes they weren't that hard to cover up but today they were. Annoying as hell. Make up really saves the day.

"C'mon. You look beautiful." He said as he pecked me quickly on the lips before taking his suitcase in one hand and mine in the other one. I nodded my head as we walked out the door and I locked it behind me. Niall let me walk down the stairs first and out towards his range rover. I jumped in on the passenger side as Niall put the suitcases in the trunk before then getting into the drivers seat.

"Let's get going." I said as Niall chuckled and started the engine. He fixed his snapback and put his blank ray bans on before heading to the airport.
We had driven for about ten minutes before Niall spoke.

"We're supposed to meet the others at the airport." I nodded. I could see him tapping excited with his fingers on the steering wheel.

"Babe, are you okay?" I asked him. He cracked a smile before answering.

"Yeah. I'm just so excited for you to meet my family. They're going to love you just as much as I do." He said and I returned the smile. Oh, how I hoped that they would like me.
Niall and I small talked as he pulled up to a parking lot at the airport. We got out of the car, grabbed our suitcases and then locked the car. As we walked trough the main entrance of the Heathrow airport I spotted the guys, Danielle and two other girls I supposed were Eleanor and Perrie. One of them had long brown hair and the other one had short blonde hair. They were both very beautiful. From my point of view the three girls looked like they had known each other for a good while which made me an outcast. I bet that they all are models. Perfect hair, pretty face and skinny legs. I was not looking so beautiful as them. That's damn sure.

Before I knew it we were standing in front of the group and some of them were calling out my name. That was when I realised that I had been so into my thoughts that I hadn't been hearing them.

"Earth to Lex!" Liam said waving a hand in front of my face. I slapped it away and he raised his eyebrows.

"Sorry, you were saying?" I asked trying to sound polite in front of the group. I had only met them once before but they did seem nice. Even though my first impression on Harry was that he was a pervert. 

"I said that this is Eleanor." He said towards the girl with the long brown hair. "And this is Perrie." He said referring to the blonde girl. "Hi, I'm Lexie." I introduced myself. Suddenly both of the girls engulfed me into a hug and Danielle too.

"We're going to be the four best friends!" Perrie sang excited. Wow! She had a really good voice. I gave her a smile in return. We all got out of the hug and grabbed our suitcases heading towards the check in. Then it was the bag drop and then we walked trough the security. Everyone headed towards the tax free and we sat down and ate some sandwiches we bought at a little store. We were eating and laughing when the intercom interrupted us.

"Flight 365 to Dublin is now boarding."  

The nearest airport to Mullingar is Dublin so we were going to fly to Dublin airport and then take the train or a taxi from there to Mullingar. As I gathered up my purse and we were walking towards the gate I could the butterflies in my stomach. The excitement was good and I could't wait to get there. I had actually never been to Ireland before but from what I have heard it's supposed to be beautiful there. We walked into the plane and found our seats. I had a seat near to a window and I looked out. Suddenly I felt Niall squeeze my hand.

"Are you ready babe?" He asked while a grin was playing on his lips.

"Yeah." I said and Niall gave me a kiss.
