Chapter 57

7 months later.

I couldn't stop laughing. I was laughing so much that my stomach hurt and tears fell down my cheeks. 7 months had passed since the wedding and Danielle had grown huge. The wedding had been so beautiful and definitely a day we all would remember.

The reason why I'm laughing is because I have a really bad sense of humour. The thing I'm laughing at is probably not even that funny but still here I am almost peeing in my pants. Dani laid on the couch with a bowl of popcorn on top of her huge belly and the sight was hilarious. And when she walked or should I said waddled was even more funny. Her due date was any day now and Liam had forced her to stay inside and pretty much do nothing. He was so protective over her and it was absolutely adorable. Danielle on the other hand found it extremely irritating that she wasn't allowed to do anything.

"Are you done laughing now?" Dani giggled as my laughter slowed down. I nodded my head and slung my body down in a chair. We were currently at Dani and Li's house.

"Can we please watch One Tree Hill now?!" Danielle yelled and I nodded my head. As I reached forwards to the dvd's lying on the floor, she made a whining noise behind me. I turned quickly around to check out what was going on.

"Are you okay?!" I asked quickly as I sat down next to her. "Yeah, it was just a strong contraction." She responded while rubbing her belly. I watched her carefully as she got another contraction.

"Are you sure?" I rubbed her back as she breathed in and out. She tried nodding but her nod turned quickly into a scream and then I knew that she was definitely not okay. I helped her stand up and then I heard a splattering noise. Like water was hitting the wooden floor. I looked down and my eyes went wide like never before. "My water broke." Danielle whispered and I nodded my head slowly. 

It was like time froze and neither one of us could move. I didn't know what to do. It was like my brain capacity stopped working for a few seconds before it started working again.

"We have to get you to the hospital!" I yelled and followed her to the door, bringing the bag she had packed a few days ago and we went out to my car. I helped Dani in on the passenger seat and then I ran around the car and got into the drivers seat. I pulled out of the driveway and drove trough the neighbourhood. I reached one of my hands into my pocket searching for my phone. When I finally found it I pressed Liam's number. It rang a few times before he picked up.

"Oh hi Lex! I'm here with the boys. Hold on, I'll put you on speaker. Say hi everyone!" Liam said and everyone said hi.

"Oh, we need to pick up some more diapers for the baby someday and....." He rambled on and I sighed.

"Liam would you please shut the fuck up? I have your wife here and we're on our way to the hospital because she's having your baby!" I yelled and looked over at Danielle. Her eyes were squeezed shut as she focused on her breathing. 

"She's going to have the baby now?!" He yelled and everyone in the background started to scream.

"Yes, so get your motherfucking ass over to the hospital!" I screamed and hung up. I focused on the road and kept telling Danielle that everything would be alright.

Danielle's arm was slung around my shoulder as I helped her into the main entrance of the hospital. As soon as we stepped inside I yelled for a nurse. I suddenly remembered the last time I was here. Niall had sung to those adorable kids. 

"She's having a baby!" I yelled and a few nurses came up to Danielle with a wheel chair. I looked up at the front desk and recognised the lady. "Hi Dawn!" I waved and she instantly smiled. "Hi Lexie!" She gave me a warm smile. The nurses started wheeling Dani away and I followed beside her. She grabbed my hand and squeezed it so hard that my hand would maybe fall off. We finally got a room and Dani was placed onto the bed. She was still squeezing my hand and I can almost promise you I won't ever feel it again.
