Chapter 2
I woke up early to the sunshine shining in my eyes. Groaning I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom.
I sighed and got a quick shower before putting on my clean clothes. I then walked back into the room and saw my mom sitting on the bed with tears running down her cheeks and I also saw that she was on the phone.
I sat at my end of the bed for a moment until I heard a knock at the door. I got up to answer it while my mom was on the phone.
When I opened it I thought I died right then and there and went to heaven. In front of me stood the most gorgeous boy I had ever seen.
I was frozen in place. All I could do was stare at him and admire how gorgeous he was.
He cleared his throat and that snapped me out of my trance. I looked at him and said "Uh.. Can I help you?"
He nodded and said "Are you Desiree Johnson?"
I crossed my arms over my chest and said "Yea why?"
He sighed and said "My name is Ian Williams and your mother sent me to protect you."
I stared at him for a moment and bursted out laughing.
"You.... are so.... funny!"
"You really are good and you had me going for a moment."
I looked at him again and saw that his face showed complete seriousness.
I cleared my throat and said "You're not joking are you?"
He shook his head and said "No, I'm completely serious."
I nodded and felt very dizzy and all of a sudden I fainted.

Ian's pov
I was told by this girl's mom to meet them at the hotel they were staying at.
She told me what the hotel was called and what room they were staying in so I got there quickly to catch them there before they left.
I found their room number and I knocked on the door and waited for a couple seconds before someone finally answered the door.
When I saw who it was I nearly dropped to my knees. She was absolutely beautiful. Her long brown hair was still wet but it was shiny and she was probably shocked to see someone as hot as me standing at the door.
We stared at each other for a while until I finally cleared my throat and that brought her out of her trance.
"Uh... Can I help you?"
I nodded and said "Are you Desiree Johnson?"
She crossed her arms over her chest and said "Yea why?"
I sighed and said "My name is Ian Williams and your mother sent me to protect you."
She looked at me for a moment and then she ended up bursting out laughing.
"You... are so... funny!"
" You really are good and you had me going for a moment."
She looked at me and saw that I was very serious about what I just said.
Her face straightened up as she asked me "You're not joking are you?"
I shook my head and said "No, I'm not."
She nodded and the next thing I knew she fainted.
Luckily I caught her in the nick of time. I picked her up bridal style and carried her into the room and sat her on the bed.
