Alex P.O.V

After Jesse said no to Kendra, she went over and asked Rider, to make Jesse angry. Although Jesse couldn't care less! The bell rang and we're off home! Luckily since the student committee has to sort out last minute things for prom! Also we're free tomorrow to and I quote 'get all dolled up' according to Miss Ruby.

I'm driving home at the moment in my cobalt blue Lamborghini. When arriving home, I toss my car keys to Paul to park it. Upon entering I hear shouting.

Liam!

"Please don't tell her! Alex doesn't need to know now!"

I run upstairs, not taking the elevator!

"Alex doesn't need to know what?" I ask curiously.

"Um, nothing, you know just Liam saying you don't need to know about the...uh...new planet discovered!" Mum says.

Honestly I haven't heard her stutter like that in ages, something is definitely going on here!

"Yeah?" Liam says trying to confirm what mum just said, but instead it comes out as a question.

"Okaaaay!" I say, pretending to dismiss it, but I still have my suspicions.

Before returning to my room, I didn't miss the relief on Liam's face!

I immediately dash over to my bed and fall face flat on it! I am soooo tired! Then I hear,

"Alex, Alex, Alex, Alex!"

Recognizing it as a recording Skylar set for the girl group ringtone, I grab my laptop from the desk. Then go into Skype, while sitting in my bay window!

"Hey A!" Skylar greets.

"Hey guys!" Amanda and Hillary says in unison.

"So did you guys buy your dresses yet?" Sky asks.

"Yep!" Everyone except me replies.

"What's the theme again?" I ask.

"It's a winterball theme!" Amanda says.

"Wait a second! Didn't you get your dress yet?" Skylar asks.

"You know you technically have a day to shop for one right?" Amanda says.

Oh boy!

"Uh...well...you see I didn't...." I say, luckily mom comes to my rescue.

"Alex could you come to my room please?" Mom says through the intercom.

"Sure, I'm on my way!" I say.

"Sorry guys don't worry about my dress, I'll figure something out! Got to go!" I say to them and close my laptop.

I then knock on mom's door,

"Come in!" Mom says.

"You called?" I ask.

"Yes I did, now tell me this, do you have a dress for prom?" Mom asks

"No, I haven't had time to get one, since the kidnapping." I say truthfully.

"That's good news! So what is the theme of the prom?" Mom asks.

"Its a winterball theme!" I say.

"So then the dress I had made for you will suit the theme perfectly!" Mom says and walks into her closet.

"Here it is, try it on dear!" Mom says, handing me the dress.

I fit it on and stare at myself in the full length mirror.
