Chapter Two: Happiness

Taking in a deep breath, I know today will be different. Yesterday was great, today will be better. Look forward to tomorrow. At least, that's what my daddy always told me. I still believe in his moral to this day. No matter how many times I recite it, it still remains true. I push open the doors the guild, as it is bursting with crazyness. My eyes light up as I a smile appears on my red lips. In front of my very own eyes, was my beloved dear darling Gray-Sama! He always made my days the best. Perfect.

I walk towards him, about to approach him and smile at my happiest, but a sharp pain stabs my head, and I grow weak, and stumble a bit. My eyesight becomes dizzy. "Juvia?" I can barely see Gray-Sama focus on me, as he stands up, reaching his hand forward, as I fall. I fall. I land on something soft. Firm. Gentle. I am lifted up, carried into safety. "Oiii, Juvia are you okay?" A voice asks as I can hear Gray-Sama's voice too. "Hey Flame Brain! Let go of her, I was just about to save her!"

My eyes flutter open as I see both Gray and Natsu looking down at me. "Gray? Natsu?" I say, as I manage to stand on my two feet. "Are you okay, Juvia?" Natsu asks as Gray growls. "Don't ask her that! Clearly, she's not well!" Gray growls as the two begin to fight, and someone pulls Juvia to her grasp. "Juvia..." Love Rival...or known more as Lucy. "Lu-cy..." I say softly as I rub my head. "Sorry for all this trouble Juvia is giving, she's just suffering...from a nightmare that should be gone." Juvia tells Lucy as her eyes lessen.

"So you too, huh." Lucy puts on a smile as she then lets me stand on my own. I nod, before realizing what words she said. Had she suffered from sleep deprivation as well?! "Lucy...you had a nightmare?!" I ask her as she nods. "Though...I'm cheerfully fine! I'm great, hehe!" Lucy says as I admire her mental strength, I really do. "Have any of you two seen Laxus?" Mirajane asks as she gives me and Lucy some fruity drinks to enjoy. I shake my head as Lucy's ears perk. "Isn't he training? To control his lightning?"

Mirajane blinks as her ocean blue eyes sparkle. "You know him so well, Lucy!" Mirajane says as she smiles, before walking off to tend to others. "Lucy, how do you know what Laxus is doing?" I ask her as she shrugs. "I don't know. I just do." She responds. "Hey Lucy! Would you like to go on a picnic today?" I ask her as she smiles, and her tummy rumbles. "That sounds like an awesome idea, Juvia." Lucy giggles as I smile. "Alright a picnic it is...though I hope no one tries to steal Juvia's beloved Gray-Sama!"

Lucy giggles as she shakes her head. "No one would dare touch Gray, for they face your tsunami!" Lucy smiles as I agree with her. I pull out a piece of white blank paper, and grab a sparkly blue pen. Lucy looks at me, wanting to know what I'm going to write down on my paper. I list all the amazing foods we can bring, all the activities we can do, and Lucy goes along and suggests some as well. Suddenly, Lucy and I jump as someone is thrown at our table. Natsu! "Natsu! Are you okay?!" I ask as Lucy laughs.

"Silly dumbo, he's obviously fighting with Erza." Lucy explains as I pick up Natsu from the table. "Man, does Erza get so cranky..." Natsu complains as Erza growls. "YOU STEP ON MY CAKE YOU GET RIPPED TO SHREDS!" She screams as Natsu screams and runs off. I shrug, knowing how much fun this guild is. "Juvia wants to join in the fun!" I begin to run towards Erza and get on her for a piggy back ride. "JUVIA!!! GET OFF!!" Erza screams and growls as I hold on tightly, and she runs around the guild. "Weeeeeeeeee!!!" I giggle happily.

"Waaaaa!" Erza crashes into a wall as I am sent flying out of the window and soar like a bird. Everyone watches in horror, but really, Juvia is filled with happiness! Using water to help Juvia go down to the ground, I stand safe and sound as Erza shouts and jumps up and down from the window. "JUVIA ARE YOU OKAY?!" She shouts as I jump back inside the guild and hug Erza. "Erzie!!! I flewwwwww like a bird!" I exclaim as she shakes her head. "If that was me flying out there, I would've died..." Erza tells me.

"Juvia is water, so she could've splashed onto the ground and be safe!" I tell Erza as she giggles. "Thank Kami you're safe though," Erza says as she eats a strawberry shortcake. "Why wouldn't Juvia be?" I smile, doing a curtsy, as I think. What if Erza heard my shrilling screams of agony?! I hope not. "Happiness describes Juvia!" I tell Erza as she smiles. "I know it does. From the moment you joined the guild, you always smile, no matter what!" Erza says as I nod. "That's true about Rain Woman, the guild makes her much more happier." Gajeel adds.

"Could it be a certain someone~?" Levy teases as I redden and look at Levy. "Levy! Don't say such a thing..." I say as she giggles. "But it's true...maybe your happiness comes from Gray!" She says as Gajeel puts a hand on Levy. "What makes you happy, Shrimp?" Gajeel asks. I blink, realizing who makes Levy happy. I bend my back a bit as I whisper in her ear. "Could it be big brother Gajeel that lightens up your days~?" Now it was my turn to tease her, and she turns red in an instant. This emotion is happiness.
