Chapter Fifteen: Buffet

I dream of nothing. Again. Comfortable in my bed, I refuse to leave it. Groaning, I feel heat against me, and open my eyes as I see Natsu smiling at me, making me yelp. "Good morning Juvia! Ready to go to the buffet?!" He asks, nicely groomed, and he smells like he took a shower. WAIT. "Natsu! Did you take a shower in Juvia's bathroom?!" I ask him as he nods and gives me a smile. "Yep! We wanna be extra fresh for the buffet! There'll be lots of food and you're going to pay for it all!" He smiles.

I sigh with what I can barely do, and get up. "Not even have breakfast?" I ask him. "No! I have to save my stomach for later!" He says as I think things over. "Okay, I'll go take a shower, you stay right there, Juvia shall freshen up, then get ready." I tell him as he lays on my bed, nodding. I hurry on in as I slip off my clothes and stare at myself in my mirror, my hair covers my chest as I sigh, starting the water as my forehead hits the glass door of my shower.

"Damn..."

Finally. It escapes my mouth. I am happy I said it. Slipping myself inside my bathtub, I stand and begin to shower away all my emotions from start of this whole mess. I scrub some of my blueberry raspberry shampoo in my hair as I scrub and scrub. Damn that dance. I hate to say it...but Gray is such a...a...a...

"Jerk..." I say under my breath as I cover my eyes, feeling tears trail down. I can't believe it. I have just called my beloved a jerk. I can't even look at dear beautiful Gray-Sama scrubby.

Closing my eyes, I'm still stuck here, to shower off my filth. Suddenly, a glistening glow appears on my chest--or rather necklace. "Le-Leonidas?" I look down, as all I see are the shades of blue shifting around and around like a raging river.

"Welcome to Phantom Lord, Juvia." Says a man with brown skin, an arched black unibrow, an evil mustache and eyes that would kill you. I don't speak. My best friend, who grew up with me, Gajeel Redfox, looks at me, awaiting for me to speak. "Sorry, Master Jose. Juvia just lost her train of thought."

"Oh? But you my gifted child need to focus." He tells me. I nod, avoiding his gaze, "You must fight Gray Fullbuster. Kill him. Even so, if we disband you must kill him. It's your sole and only purpose." He says as I force myself to nod. I don't even know who this Gray Fullbuster is, and I'm not mentally prepared to hurt anyone whom I've just met. But this burning purple mark on my shoulder tells me to do so. "Juvia will. As of right now, she shall prepare...her long journey...and purpose to kill Gray Fullbuster."

I gasp, covering my mouth from letting a scream emit. Shuddering, I can't handle my shower water, and I step out, quickly pulling on fresh clothes and hurry on outside, staring at a sleeping Natsu. "Natsu." I begin as he groans, sitting up and rubbing his head. "Blueberry?" He asks as I grin. "Strawberry. It's time for our buffet." I declare as he grins and grabs my hand. "Yay, we're gonna go to a buffet and eats lots of food!" He runs, heading for the buffet. "W-Wait! Natsuuuu!!!" We run down the streets, running and running, never stopping.

With a loud clink, towering plates of fine china build up on the table as Natsu gobbles down on all the delicious mouth watering food. I take a bite into my thick savory turkey leg as I hold the end for support. Natsu slurps down spaghetti as he looks at me.

"Mmmch...mmph...hey Juvia! Isn't this food great?" He turns to a large pizza as he slips it into his mouth. "Yeah." I say, taking a sip of a strawberry smoothie. He chews and chews as he looks at me. "Hey, you wanna go on a mission?" He asks.

"Again?" I ask. "Yeah, not just with me this time, but with Team Natsu!" He says as I immediately shake my head. "Whaaa! Why not!" He bites into a pastrami burger. "Juvia...has to train...alone." I say as he shrugs. "Okay." He responds as he picks up more food. Geez, at this rate, he's gonna eat the entire restaurant. I smile a bit as I just decide to enjoy the time I'm spending with Natsu. I eat more, and I decide something: I'm going to train tomorrow, but maybe I'll have a girls night out? Today with my friends!

Getting the idea glued to my head, I get up as I pay for the food, and Natsu stands up and looks at me. "Oiiii, where are you going?" He asks. "To see Levy." I say as Natsu slumps back. "Okay, I'll wait for you at home!" He says as I almost cringe. Oh Natsu, what am I to do with you? Walking out of the restaurant, I hurry on to the library, to where Levy obviously is. I hurry on quickly as I run off, thinking about Natsu and even...Gray at the back of my head.

But mostly Natsu.

I pass the scenery that shows the palace, and almost glare at it, but continue on forward, thinking. Holding onto my once cursed shoulder, I look at my feet as no one is there with me in the streets. I want to go to the guild, but Levy is more important. She can just help me plan this out, and suggest on who is to go with me to train tomorrow. Perhaps I could read about dragons to learn about how Leonidas can be tamed or something. Just you wait Leonidas, we'll be able to communicate very soon.
