Chapter Eleven: Big Brother and Best Friend

I lay back, letting my almost healed body get a good rest--again. "Lucy?" I speak up as Lucy shifts over and looks at me. "Yeah?" She says sleepily as she rubs her eyes, Loke's key at her side. "Remember Lucy, I'm always by your side. Leave my key by your bed side, and I shall always be there." I slowly turn to face her as I lay, and speak. "You don't think...that all these events...are all because of the evil choice we made...?" Lucy blinks before squeezing her pillow tightly. "I really hope not. It's not easy..."

"To believe...we'd do such a thing..." I finish her sentence as she nods. She closes her eyes as I do too. "Rain Woman." A voice calls out to me as another one speaks. "Juviaa!!" A voice calls out as a two more. "Lucy!!! Your brooo is here!" Another one, it's Natsu... "Which I hope you'll leave Juvia alone with her guests, we're here to see Lucy." Says the other one as I open my eyes, and see Gajeel and Levy infront of me. "Gajeel! Levy!" I smile as I turn to Lucy, and see Natsu and Erza have visited.

"Rain Woman! Why are you wearing that Bon Fire's scarf! He better not have spent the night with you or else I'll kick his bu--" Levy giggles as Gajeel looks at her. "Always overprotective, like a big brother!" Levy says as I nod in agreement. "That still won't get me off topic! Juvia why do you have Natsu's scarf?!" Gajeel says as I giggle and slowly respond. "Juvia and Natsu went on a mission together, see? He's wearing Juvia's blue hat and Juvia is wearing his scarf." I explain as Gajeel crosses his arms. "Tch. No dating, no boys, Juvia."

"Gajeel! We didn't come here to be overprotective, we came here to see how Juvia is doing." Levy says sweetly as I giggle and look at the two. "Juvia is doing well, just a couple more days and she's out of here." I smile as the two look at me. "That's good, Rain Woman. Any plans for when you get out?" Gajeel asks as I nod and rest my arms back behind my head. "Gray-Sama asked Juvia to go to a dinner party with him and Natsu asked to go to a buffet with hi--"

"WAIT WHAT! THEY WHAT!"

Gajeel growls as Levy fangirls. "NYAAAA!!! Two boys have asked you out!! That's amazing!" She jumps up and down asked Gajeel shoots a look at her. "What! Don't say that!" He says as I giggle. " Now, now! Juvia isn't dating...but..." I giggle. "Juvia doesn't think Natsu--or Gray like Juvia like that..." I say and Gajeel smiles and pats my head. "That's the spirit! No boys and dating is good!" He says as Levy looks at him. "How can you say that! Juvia should be able to date, geez you act like a big overprotective brother." Levy declares.

"Hmmph." Gajeel grunts as I giggle and eye the two. "You may be a little bit right, Levy, but Juvia thinks you and big brother should date!" I say as the two become as red as cherries and tomatoes. "WHAT!!! N-NO!!! WHAT'D MAKE YOU SAY THAT...WE D-D-DON'T LIKE EACH OTHER LIKE THAT!" They say in unison as I give them a smug smirk. "Really now? You two were just talking in unison, that means your hearts are connected, linked as one!" I say as they both redden, Levy then hides her face behind a book, calming herself.

Gajeel munches on metal as he then pats my head. "Errr...Levy and I have something to do. So, we'll see you around?" He smiles as I nod, heading towards the door. "C'mon, Shrimp, we don't want to be late." He says as Levy puts her book away in her red purse before turning to me. "How do you get him to like you so easily?" Levy asks as I tilt my head in confusion. "Juvia doesn't understand the question..." Levy takes a seat on my hospital bed. "He...has a kind nature with you...how can I get him to like me?"

"KYAAAA!!!" I scream in fangirlness as Natsu bolts towards me. "Juvia! You oki?" He asks. I nod as Erza pulls him away. "Nuuuuu I wanna talk to Juviaaa!" He says while being dragged. I giggle under my breath as I then turn to Levy. "Just be yourself. Gajeel really does seem to like your personality. Juvia wants you two together! If anyone is perfect for Juvia's big brother, it's you!" I say as she reddens, and nods sheepishly. "A-Aye..." She responds as Lucy yelps. "Don't be like that stupid blue cat!" She says as Happy then floats.

"Aye!" He says as we all sigh. Classic Happy. "Anyways, what do you have planned with Gajeel?" I ask. "Just moving some books, about five hundred or so in my house, then we'll probably get a bite to eat!" She expresses her happiness as I hug her with all my strength. "Have fun, and remember, just be yourself, if Jet and Droy like you for who you are, then Gajeel will definitely like you!" I say as Levy blushes and nods, before returning my hug and beginning to strut off in her red high heels out the room.

"Don't you two stay up too long. I want you both healed soon." Erzie says as she steps out and Natsu then pats my head, and he's still wearing my hat. "How long will it be when Juvia will wear her hat again and when Juvia will stop having to wear your scarf?" I ask. He gives me a smile. "Until we eat at the buffet, see ya Juves." He says as I watch him go as well. Lucy sighs as she slumps back down onto her bed, Laxus' jacket wrapped around her. "Just two more long days...just two more."
