Chapter Nine: The Icy Visitor

Finally, I awake from my recent nap, as I look over and see Loke at Lucy's side. He's sitting on the nearby chair, looking down. "I wish...I was there...to stop...the attack..." Loke says softly, as he sighs softly, covering his face. "Loke it's fine, Taurus came out instead, and tried to fight off that weird thing." She says as Loke shakes his head before looking to the side. "Still. You tried to summon me when you needed aid...and I wasn't there for you..." Loke says softly as Lucy touches his hand. "You're always there for me."

I smile, as I stare up at the ceiling and shift my sore legs a bit. The pain refuses to go away, as it still haunts me, and I can't stand it. The scent of strawberries infatuate my nose, as I am still wearing Natsu's scarf. I wonder, how he's doing. Especially now with my beanie. "Yo." A voice is heard to my side, and I slowly turn my head, and I immediately blush and smile. "Gray-Sama!" I say as he has his arms crossed, and he sits up straight on the chair nearest to me and my bed.

"I heard about your mission with Flame Brain." Gray notes as I gasp. "Don't worry Gray-Sama! Nothing happened!" I say as I look at him. "Oh? Then why do you have his scarf?" He grunts as I look and then start to fondle with it. "Natsu wanted to trade with Juvia for her beanie." I say as Gray rolls his eyes as he smiles. "Classic Natsu." I smile as I then speak. "Is Gray-Sama jealous?" I ask as Gray furrows his eyebrows as he looks at me. "What! Me? Jealous of Flame Brain, he's lame!" Gray says annoyed.

"Well, Juvia is glad Natsu and Juvia got the jewels as an apology." I say as Gray-Sama says nothing. "What happened...back at your mission with Natsu...?" Gray asks as he looks into my eyes. "Oh nothing! Juvia and Natsu just bonded!" I say, squeezing the scarf in my grasp. "Doesn't sound like nothing happen, did he do something weird...?" Gray asks as I think, while slowly sitting up, still having my soul sore. "Ummm, he wrapped his arms around Juvia's stomach, and it was almost like hug...and also, when we were on the train..." I try remembering.

"What?" He looks at me.

"Well, Juvia wanted to know more about dragons...since they're so cool, so she asked Natsu about them, he mention Igneel, and was smiling and going on about Igneel, then...when he was going to mention when Igneel disappeared, Natsu started to get sad...and so Juvia put a finger on his lips to stop him talking...and then, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her from her side of the seat to his, and Juvia landed on Natsu, and he wrapped the scarf around Juvia, and Natsu put on Juvia's hat..." I smile, blushing.

"Tsk...he's worse than Lyon..." Gray looks to the side as I smile brightly and look at Gray. "Don't worry Gray-Sama, Juvia only has eyes for you, following your every movement..." I say as Gray's eyes widen and he falls out of his seat at to what I said. "That's so creepy!" I gasp, as he's sitting on the ground. "Gray-Sama! Are you okay?!" I ask as he sits up. "Yeah..." He responds dully as he sits back down. "So, how long are you going to be trapped in here? Smells like sanitizer and it's so white...ugh."

"Master Makarov told Juvia she is going to stay here for a week, why?" I ask as he then gets up, and pushes the chair to the side. "Well," Gray looks to the side, as he shoves a hand into his pocket, and he pulls something out. "Here..." He says, handing me something, as I look and see its a blue and black card! Made by Gray-Sama! It's so holy! I take it as my heart starts pounding and my imagination runs wild.

"Here Juvia, I love you so much I just decided to get you this card." Gray's eyes are beautiful and sparkly as the whole room is all shades of pink, and there are many hearts. "Gray-Sama!!! This is such an amazing get well card!" I say as Gray then gets on the bed and gets on top of me, and I redden. "G-Gray-Sama?!" I gasp as he leans down, close to my face. "Don't say that my lovely goddess...I put dishonor to the Fullbuster name for giving you such a humanly present..." Gray says as his eyes shimmer, looking deeper into mine. "Gray-Sama?!" I gasp as he smirks. "I got an even better present, Juvia..."

"Juvia. Juvia. Juvia. Juvia." I blink over and over again as I cover my face, and then sit up immediately. "Yessss Gray-Sama?!?!" I squeal as he looks at me, his eyes big and he's frowning. "Oh crap, why do I get a feeling that you were having one of your freaky fantasies?!" Gray gets up as I smile. "Only of you, darling!" I giggle as he then speaks up. "Oh...ummm...I want to hang out...first with you after you leave the hospital. No Natsu. Me, okay?" He then pats my head.

"Get well soon, Juvia."

He gives me a gentle smile as he takes his leave and I squeal and roll around the bed. "My, my..." Lucy giggles as she clutches onto her Loke key tightly. "Did Leo come by??" I ask as she nods. "He wants me to go to the Celestial World with him after I'm better." Lucy says as I giggle and then flip open the card to see snowmen, snowflakes, rain, unbrellas, and lots of things. "Gray-Sama is so sweet..." I smile. "He sure is." Lucy responds. Juvia can't wait to get out of the hospital!!!
