Chapter Thirty Seven: Ice Comforts Water

I slam the door behind me, as I collapse onto my knees on the floor as I cry for a good moment. I can't believe what the boy I loved said to me. I hope he doesn't have the spare key to break inside my house. With a big frown and puffy pink eyes from sobby tears of gloomy rain, I walk inside my room as I sniffle, and whimper out of tears, and it was then, my droopy nose catches a familiar scent.

"Hey Juvia! ...Hey...What's...wrong?"

"G-Gray-S-Sama...it's nothing..."

"You're really bad at lying..."

Gray squeezes my Gray-Sama plushie in his hand as he stares at it, before staring all around my room. "What the heck is up with your room..." He says, seeing all my Gray themed things. I turn dark red as I rub my cheeks. "It's nothing..." I say, as my tears stain my face. "You are such a liar..." Gray sits up on my bed, as he then pulls me into a hug and his eyes lessen in sorrow and sympathy. "Now..." He squeezes Gray-Sama doll again so it makes its squeeze noise. "Why are you crying, Juvia?"

"N-Natsu-Sam--Natsu."

"Great what did the smoked salmon do?!" Gray says almost angry, but he manages to maintain it. And so, I inhaled deeply, before exhaling and told him. About Phantom Four Team being assembled. About it consisting of my best friend Levy, big brother Gajeel, precious friend Totomaru, and gloomy rainy girl me. I then told him about Natsu and me. How he called me Juvia-Sama. How I tried to kindly explain to him how he needs to stay on his team. How he got mad at me, and his outburst, and all the mean hurtful things. And the slap.

"Damn..." Gray tightens his hold on me. I nod, before looking at him. "Why are you here...Juvia thought you'd be with Love Rival...err...Lucy..." I tell him as he scratches his head before sighing. "I don't barge into Lucy's house that much anymore." Gray says as he smirks. "I have an idea on what we can do~!" Gray smirks. "Ehh?? What?" I ask as he chuckles and his smirk grows wider. "Something...Naughty~"

"Kyaaaaa!" I gasp as I'm thrown on my back and Gray climbs over ontop with his smirk. "What! Naughty things?!" I ask.

               "Sleeping together."

And with that, I forget about my drama with Natsu and Gray lays ontop. "I'm going to spend the night with you...and uh...also...I want to do a mission together...alone." Gray says as I nod, and redden as he then closes his eyes. "Goodnight Juvia."
