I walk inside the guild, expecting the loud noise of people, only it was quiet. Had master told them all to stay home? Lucy is behind me as she stands fairly. "Master-San..." Lucy speaks up as Makarov greets the both of us. "I have something, it's such a deep secret that no one else must know." Makarov says as he holds onto a box. "That is why, I forbid anyone from coming close to the guild." Makarov says as Lucy and I exchange glances, probably feeling the same things. Curiosity. Anxiety. Nervousness. Fear. Seriousness. Strong will. The exact same.
"Now...once I open this box, you two must promise me, and make a vow here and now." Makarov says quietly as Lucy and I nod. Makarov, slowly clicks open the box, as two things begin to glow inside the golden box, they're vibrant, gleamy, and give off a strong luster. One, the color of the midnight blues and purples, but it mainly has blue itself. The other, contrasts, having the sunny oranges and yellows, but mainly red. Lucy and I are both awestruck, and more emotions cloud us up.
"Juvia Lockser and Lucy Heartfilia. These stones are the rarest thing on all of the earth. The stones contain two dragons, one by the name Leonidas, and the other, Dragonidas." He begins.
"Dragonidas was once the ruler of all that the sun touched, he guarded it with his life. Trusted no humans, and sneered at all evil. He is fire itself, and has never been slayed nor tamed. This, Lucy..." Makarov takes out the silver lined necklace with the fire filled gem, surrounded by one red, one orange, and one yellow orb on each side of the necklace. "Is for you. Take care of it. This is how you shall summon Dragonidas, but only summon him when you absolutely have to."
Lucy nods. "Y-Yes..." She holds it, her hands shaking by the intense power, as she then puts it around her neck. Now it's my turn. Makarov lifts up the blue one. "This is Leonidas," He begins as he sets the golden, jewel encrested box to the side. "This contains the Dragon Leonidas, was ruler of all that the moon touched. He absolutely hated humans, he never trusted one that trespassed near him, and so, with a golden heart like yours, Juvia, this is for you. Be careful. Only summon him when you are in grave danger."
The necklace has a golden lining as it has blue and black arrowhead-like spikes on the side, and the shades of blue, dark blue, sky blue, baby blue, and black are within the stone. "Y-Yes..." I slowly hold it in my grasp, as my hands tremble at the amazing yet demeaning power that the Dragon holds. I slowly put on the necklace as I slip it into my dress, hiding on my chest. "Juvia will protect you Leonidas." I say as Lucy smiles a bit. "It's suppose to be the other way around, but..."
She places a finger on Dragonidas, and swirls her finger onto the stone. "I'll protect you, Dragonidas." I smile, admiring her strength as I look at Master. "Are there books on Leonidas or Dragonidas?" I ask as Makarov shakes his head. "That's the next thing I'm going to talk about." He begins. Lucy and I remain in silence. "No one--not even your closest guild mates, or even your lovers--"
"WHAT! Master! How could you say such a thing?!" Lucy reddens.
"Juvia isn't dating anyone...bu-but..."
"...Or those you care deeply...anyways, girls. I'm being serious. You must never tell another soul about Dragonidas and Leonidas. Only the three of us know. That's how it should be. So keep this in secrecy. Come to me when you need aid." Makarov says as Lucy and I nod. "Be careful girls. Eventually, the dragons will speak to you, but tonight, the both of you shall receive a dream from your dragons. You can tell me if you'd like, especially if something terrifies you of the dream. With that girls, you can go. I will see both of you soon." He smiles as Lucy and I nod and walk out.
💧
"Juvia thinks you'll be safer around her neck!" I say smiling, in my blue nightgown with blue ribbons surrounding it, as I lay in bed. I grab a Gray-Sama plush as I hold it close and squeeze it. Smiling, I lay down on my bed as I drift into my sleep, knowing that tonight won't be a nightmare--I hope. Tonight will be a dream about Leonidas!
💧
It's dark, and I can't really see. All I can see...is blue. A very bright blue. In front of my eyes, it's smoke. Two eyes that are boldly and solidly blue stare into my soul.
"Leonidas?!"
"...Juvia..."
He says in his deep scary monstrous--almost demonic voice. "Leonidas! You're the dragon! Juvia is the girl who shall protect you!" I smile, and radiate my strength. His eyes narrow. "Do you think that just because your small and puny master gave you to me, that I will protect you?" He says, snarling afterwards too. I bite my lip, unable to hold my fear deep down. "M-Master did say you were difficult, and that Dragonidas--"
"DON'T YOU DARE MENTION THAT NAME NEAR MY PRESENCE!" Leonidas roars loudly furiously.
"S-Sorry!!!" I respond. Slowly, his massive front leg appears from the mist as his long sharp black claw, ten times bigger than me slowly reaches my face, slightly underneath my chin. "Juvia Lockser. As my dragon keeper, you shall suffer greatly. Do not summon me unless you ensure yourself you are at your death." He says scarily as his black onyx nail slightly touches underneath my chin, as it trails down to my chest. The necklace. His nail roams around the necklace. "This is where I'll be kept. For now, we shall communicate only in your dreams."
"Understood...Leonidas."
