Chapter Twenty: Hot and Cold Mission

I had a dream. Only, it was short. I don't remember it. The only thing that was in it was the blue box with the love poem and the cake. That is all I can remember. I finally get up from my canopy bed and head for my bathroom for a quick shower, with my Leonidas necklace wrapped around my neck. Always. I put on some fresh clothes, having my lingerie in my closet as I then walk out of my house, and head for my guild. I step inside and look around. Funny, there's no Lucy. Had Cana gotten Lucy drunk and now she's sick?

I sigh, as I look at the mission board and peer around and try and find a mission that wouldn't kill me like the last one. "You going to take a mission?" A voice asks, as I turn around and look at the boy. "Oh hey Natsu!" I say as Natsu smiles. "I would like to take the mission with you!" He says as I am about to agree. "No way!" Another voice appears as he crosses his arms. "You're not taking another mission with Juvia you Roasted Marshmallow! It's my turn!" He growls.

"Gray-Sama!" I blush as then Natsu and Gray have a staring contest. "She's going with me, Ice Cube!" Natsu growls as Gray fights back. "No way Boil Pot! She's going with me!" As they both fight I blush as I hug them both, Gray on my left and Natsu on my right. "Noooo! Let's go to the mission all together!" I giggle as Natsu and Gray grunt before they finally agree. I smile as I look through the mission board and try to find a mission. "Ohhh! This one!" Natsu says as he rips the one paper off the board.

"Great! Let's get it approved now!" Gray says as I blink over and over again. "W-Wait! Don't you want to overview it?!?!" I place a hand out as Gray and Natsu get it approved and I immediately sigh. Boys will be boys... "Well! What are we waiting for?!" Natsu grabs my arm, as he then swoops me around until he's giving me a piggy back ride, my arms sling over his shoulders as my legs surround his waist. "Wow, Juvia! You have lovely legs!" Natsu begins to stroke them as I squeak and immediately turn a shade red.

"Ahh!" Gray growls as he then punches Natsu. "Don't stroke her legs! And since when do you get to carry Juvia?!" Natsu growls as Natsu holds his cheek meat. "Relax, Popsicle, you'll get your turn!" Natsu says as the three of us leave the guild. The sun hits me, as Leonidas sparkles and shines by the sun rays hitting down on him. "Juvia." Gray says as I snap out of my daydreaming, still clutching onto Natsu's strong shoulders as I face Gray, who is walking at the same pace Natsu is. "Yes, Gray-Sama?" I ask as Natsu pouts childishly.

"When are you gonna call me Natsu-Sama?!" Natsu says as I blush, and Gray growls in fury. "Hey! I was talking to Juvia first! Anyways..." He turns to face me as Gray's dark charcoal eyes of coal focus on me. "Uh...how many missions have you gone on with Natsu?" Gray asks as Natsu scoffs. "I don't think that's what you were going to ask her." He murmurs as Gray growls. "Hey! Mind your own freaking business!" Natsu sighs as he looks up at me. "Hey Juvia...should we get food first this time, because what if you get hurt?"

"What kind of a question is that Roasted Pig!" Gray crosses his arms as Natsu looks at Gray. "What! I had to wait a whole week until Juvia got out and took me to the buffet!" Natsu says as Gray crosses his arms and lets out a sigh. "You seriously do not know what to say to a girl, do you?" Gray rolls his eyes as I persist myself from laughing. It was then, I grew tired, and fell asleep on Natsu's back, hearing only bickering.

"You do realize, you have to make a choice." A voice says, as I ignore him. "Jose...please...Juvia don't want to kill Gray-Sama anymore...after Juvia's first battle with him, something Gray held, deep within his heart changed Juvia. Juvia no longer wants to kill him...he stopped the rain." I say softly, avoiding Jose's gaze. "Oh? But you're still in Phantom Lord! And as the queen of Phantom Lord, you MUST kill Gray. Remember, even if we disband, and when you join a new guild, you are to kill Gray! KILL HIM!" I tremble, wanting to break into tears, as Gajeel hugs me from behind. "Rain Woman. Calm down."

I nod, sniffling, covering my face as Jose glares at me. "Pathetic." He says as he leaves. "Gajeel...Juvia doesn't want to stay here no more...She can't handle Jose...She doesn't love Phantom Lord, no matter how many times Juvia says that, she knows deep down that she absolutely hates it..." I sniffle, as Gajeel hugs me tighter. "It's okay...if we do disband, I promise you, I'll always be by your side. We've grown up together, we've gone through a shit load, and yet we manage to push through." Gajeel says, as I can't help but smile wide.

"Thank you, Gajeel." I say, as he chuckles, patting my head. "No problem, Juvia. I promise ya, since you're already getting feelings for that Ice Cream Boy, that you're not gonna kill him, ever!" Gajeel smiles, patting my head. "Juvia loves you, Gajeel." I smile sweetly as he chuckles pulling me into a hug. "I love you too, Rain Woman...We've been through thick and thin." He says, "Yeah! It's like we're siblings." I giggle, as Gajeel chuckles. "Yeah, but promise me one thing. If tons of guys chase after you, promise me you won't do stupid things."
