"Hey, big boy," I watched in disgust as a woman slid into a bar seat, attempting to seduce my man, "Mind making me a sex on the beach?"

"Of course," His smile was clearly twitching in annoyance as he made her order, "Here you are, ma'am. Please, go back to your little..."

"Aw, is that how you're going to treat such a lady?" She whined. I almost snorted at how much she was trying right now, "Tell you what, blonde hunk of sexiness. Why don't we... get to know each other a little better?"

"Ma'am, I'm flattered, really," Laxus grinned, leaning back and tossing a rag onto his shoulder, "But, I'm unfortunately taken. By my lovely wife."

The look on her face seemed shocked, before a dirty giggle left her mouth, "Well, I don't see her. She doesn't need to know."

"Actually, I already do," I strutted over to the two, a smug look plastered on my face, "I must say, you did really good for a noob. Next time, don't be so desperate to get some."

The girl stepped back, sputtering in embarrassment, "I-I-I-I see... Thank you for the drink..."

As she sulked away, I sighed in victory, Laxus wrapping his arm around me to pull me closer, "Did you really have to make me deal with her for that long?"

"You're adorable when you reject girls," I grinned up at him, "Trying to be all polite."

"You saying I ain't polite?" His lip pulled upward, "Why, I'm the most gentlemanly guy out here!"

I snickered, "Yeah, yeah. Whatever helps you sleep at night, big guy."

Laxus and I have been together for about 5 years now. We decided to open up our own bar and it's been going great. Both of us take turns being bartender and waiter/waitress. Currently no kids. We agreed to just stick to business. But I'm secretly hoping I accidentally get pregnant, ya know? Honestly, I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. (*wink wink*)

About an hour later, the final customer paid his bill and left. We officially closed for the day. As I wiped down the bar, a pair of arms wrapped around me. I smiled as Laxus nuzzled into my neck, kissing me every now and then.

"What's gotten into you tonight, Laxus? You've been so touchy touchy," I chuckled.

"I'm just... really..." He took a big inhale before finishing, "Grateful."

His body heat radiated onto me, and I could feel how shy he was getting, "Grateful... you chose me. That I have a life with you."

I couldn't help but smile, turning myself around and cupping his face with my hand. A red hue spread across his face as he looked away, but he placed his hand over mine, leaning into it even more, "That I didn't lose you..."

His heart was pounding so much, I felt it. He closed his eyes slowly, enjoying the moment. His eyes opened just as slowly, this time looking straight into my eyes, "That I fell in love with you."

Laxus bit his lip cutely, averting his eyes once more. I chuckled, going on my tippy toes to place kisses all over his face, eventually stopping, "I'm grateful too. I love you so much," As soon as I said that, my lips brushed against his. Laxus' free hand found its way to my leg, easily lifting me onto the bar. I ran my fingers through his hair, deepening the kiss. We eventually broke apart for air. I pressed my forehead against his, taking in deep breaths, "I think it's time we go home, don't you?"

"Definitely," He grinned, picking me up and walking to the door.

"H-Hey, now! Let me down! I need to walk on my own!"

"Nah. I'd rather have you clinging to me so you won't fall."

"Come on! We're drawing attention."

"Good. Everyone should know you're mine."

"Sh-shut up!"

"Besides, we'll be like this when we get home. It'll make the wait go faster."

My face exploded, and I hid it in his neck.

All I could hear was his seductive chuckle as he held me tight.
