The Dance Part 2

Hibiki and I were hanging at the food table. We laughed a lot.

" So, you helped them get out of detention?" He asked laughing.

" Yeah. That was only because I needed payback for Blueberry! Oh! They are playing a slow song! Let's go!" I grabbed his hand and dragged him to the dance floor. I put my arms around his neck. He put his hands on my waist. We kept talking.

" How are you doing with your new life with the eight party poopers?" He asked.

" Good. What about you? Who is in your dorm?" I asked.

" Ren, Eve, and Jenny. Jenny is usually with her friends. Or at cheer practice," He replied.

" Wow. I heard you and Jenny dated before," I said.

" Yeah. Soon, Jenny is going to leave Fiore Academy. She wants to go to a model school," Hibiki said.

" Isn't Jenny the cheer captain?" I asked.

" Right. She is. That means they need a new captain. Maybe you should try out!" He smirked.

" What?!" I was shocked.

" Yeah! I heard you were cheer captain at your old school! And none of the cheerleaders want the position! It is perfect for you!" He smiled. I smiled back. Somehow, our faces became inches apart. His eyes closed and I was blushing. He closed the space between our lips and I closed my eyes. The song ended. We broke apart and blushed.

" Sorry. Just caught up in the moment...." Hibiki said.

" It is okay," I blushed and looked around. The girls were smirking while the boys looked heartbroken and angry. They looked away. I sighed and walked over to the girls.

" So! Is it official?!" Cana asked. I shook my head.

" We were just caught up in the moment! Like I said! It is only for the dance!" I said.

" But you made Hibiki Lates blush! Whenever he kisses someone, he smirks with no blush! You got to him, Lu-chan!" Levy-chan squealed.

" Still! We didn't mean to kiss!" I protested.

" And what is this? The troublemakers are troubled?" Erza gasped. I turned around and saw Them storming out. Natsu was shaking, Laxus and Gajeel punched the wall, Sting gripped on his beer bottle and it shattered, and the rest looked down. I turned to Hibiki. He was talking to his dorm mates. Everyone else was partying. I frowned. That made the girls frown.

" What is wrong?" Wendy asked.

" Nothing. I'll be right back," I ran out of the dance. My stomach was hurting. I saw the eight talking while leaning against the walls. I spotted the bathroom. I covered my mouth. This isn't good. I began running. Rogue was looking at me.

" Lucy? What's wrong?" He asked. They all looked at me.

" Move!" I shouted and pushed through. I ran to the door and pushed it open. I ran into the nearest stall and threw up. There was a knock on the door.

" Lucy. Are you okay?" I heard Jellal. I was still throwing up. The door opened and they came up.

" Get her friends!" Laxus shouted. Rogue held my hair back and the others waited outside. After a few minutes, I stopped.

" What happened?" Rogue asked.

" I just felt sick," I said. I really don't know what was happening. The girls ran in.

" Are you okay?!" Juvia shouted. I nodded.

" ROGUE!!! GET OUT!!!" Erza shouted. He ran. I flushed the toilet and washed my mouth.

" Do you know what happened?" Levy-chan asked.

" No. I just felt sick and threw up. Just memories came up. I haven't wanted to throw up since my dad died two years ago. He was mad at me and stormed out. Just like the troublemakers. Sorry if I made you worried," I bowed.

" Don't be sorry, Lucy! Come on! Let's go back to the dance and eat!" Cana cheered. I smiled. These crazy idiots are my friends. We walked out of the door and saw Hibiki.

" I am sorry, Lucy. I might have given too much food and drinks!" He said. I shook my head.

" It wasn't your fault. Just bad memories of today," I sighed. We headed to the dance. I noticed the guys looking down and staying still. I looked back at them.

" Are you guys coming or are you just going to stand there?" I teased. They looked at me. Their eyes were filled with anger, concern, and heartbreak. I sighed. The others were looking at me with worry.

" Come on, Lucy," Hibiki said. I nodded and caught up with them.

" What is wrong with them?" Kinana asked. I shrugged.

" I'll catch up later. Just need to check on something," I ran off to the garden. It was peaceful. The breeze hit my revealing skin. I sat on the bench and closed my eyes. I relaxed.

" Is she literally sleeping?" I heard. I opened my eyes. Way to ruin it. They showed up.

" You! Tell me why you are sad!" I pointed. It was Natsu.

" I think you said that too loud," Sting said.

" You too! Why are you guys angry, sad, and concerned?!" I said. They flinched.

" Calm down, Blondie," Laxus said.

" Obviously, I can't! You all drag me here! And you don't enjoy yourselves! You storm off shaking, punching a wall, shattering a glass with your hand, and looking down! You stay in a little corner the whole time! I thought that the people who want me to come would actually have fun! If you excuse me, my friends and I are going to enjoy our night!" I stormed off to the dance. I glanced back and see them shocked. I scanned the room and found my friends and Hibiki sitting at the table. I ran to them.

" Where were you?" Hibiki asked.

" In the garden," I sat down next to him and drank my punch. Erza tapped me on the shoulder. She was looking at the entrance. I was confused. I turned at saw eight figures smirking. Girls were swooning over them. I just giggled.

" What did you do?" Lisanna looked at me.

" They are so bipolar!" I said while giggling at their huge ego.

" You liiiiiiiike them!" The girls sang. I shoved them.

" Awesome! They are playing my favorite song!" Wendy shouted. We all laughed and stood up. They were playing Happily by One Direction. If you didn't know, Wendy is a huge One Direction fan. We all started dancing. I looked at the guys and smiled. They joined us and we had a lot of fun.

AFTER PARTY!

The guys and I were walking home. I was holding my heels. We walked in silence. A smile crept on my face. I turned to face them and walked backward.

" So! Did you all have fun?" I asked. They looked up at me.

" Are you serious? Why are you asking us?" Natsu had his hands on the back of his head.

" Sorry! I wouldn't ask if you guys weren't party poopers for half of the night!" I said. It went silent again. We arrived at the dorm. I unlocked it and Ginger jumped into my arms. I hugged her and turned to the boys who were sitting on the couches. Before I closed my door, I looked at them.

" Thank you for getting me to go to the dance," I smiled and shut the door. I took a long bath and changed into my pajamas. I plopped onto my bed and fell asleep........
