Save the Park {Pt. 4}

Before we start, I wanna say this. I've noticed that this book mostly contains Rolu, Jelu, Nalu, and Stinglu. So, this arc will be fore Graylu and Lalu because those are the two that I barely even had moments for. And if I have, please forgive me. Also, Lucy is like super off her original character. So, I'm gonna try going toward her original character more.

It's been a week since we all started saving the park. Within that time, word started spreading. Rogue, being the genius he is, made t-shirts with a design drawn by Jellal (MEDIA). I'm finally getting my braces off. So I could finally help with everything. What's amazing is that we got almost everything done. The gardening and new playground are done. Jellal finished his jobs. Right now, He, Gajeel, and Lyon are working on the fountain. The time hit 12 pm and I smiled.

" You ready to go, Blondie/ Lucy?" Gray and Laxus asked. I turned around and smiled.

" Yeah!" I giggled. I grabbed their hands and started walking to the car. We got to the car and I got in the front with them. We took Gajeel's truck. It had a middle front seat. I was in the middle while Laxus was driving and Gray was sitting in the passenger seat. I put my headphones on and opened my song journal. While the guys were working their butts off, I was busy creating songs for the concert. They were a variety. There wasn't really a theme for the songs. 

I started humming as I imagined the music. As I hummed, I wrote some lyrics down. Going unnoticed by me, Gray was staring at me and Laxus glancing from time to time. We eventually arrived and walked into the hospital. I checked in and we sat down.

" How are the songs going?" Gray asked. I turned to a song and handed it to him. It was a song I think would fit his personality.

" Wow," He said.

" It's a song I think you and might sing," I said, "And I think it fits you both."

" I'll have to get together with Natsu," He said.

" Great!" I smiled. Then, I turned to Laxus.

" This song is for us two. We can sing it at the concert."

" Fine by me," He said.

" Heartfilia," The nurse called. I stood up and made my way to her.

" Let's go," I turned to the two. They nodded and caught up to me. We followed the nurse to a therapy room. There, Mizu was looking at a clipboard.

" Hey, Mizu." I greeted.

" Hey, Lu!" She smiled, "We will be doing a physical test to make sure you are ready to take your braces off. You boys can wait out of the room."

They nodded and closed the door. I took my braces off and walked over to the pull up bar.

After Test

I looked at Mizu. She was reviewing my test skills.

" Well, looks like you check out. You don't need your braces anymore!"

I sighed in relief, "Thanks, Mizu. I'll get going,"

" See you!" She smiled and waved as I walked out of the room.

" How'd it go?" Laxus asked. I grinned.

" I'M FREE!!!" I shouted and jumped around. They let smiles onto their face.

" Let's go! I wanna get the event set up!" I was so excited. I could be of use to this! We got into the car and hurried to the park where everyone was. 

As soon as we arrived, we ran over to the group that was waiting.

" Looks like you got your braces off," Jellal said. I nodded.
