Demons and Dragon vs. Phoenixes.... {Pt. 5}

Lucy POV 

We arrived at the training center Zeref, Mavis, and I went to. I walked up to the desk and looked at the man.

" Oi! We are here to train for a little. Is anyone using this place?" I asked. He looked up at me.

" Sorry. But we are closed for today," He said. I sighed and took my sunglasses off. My eyes were still closed. I shot my eyes open and glared at him. He jumped out of his chair.

" Are you lying to me?" I asked. Apparently, he was cowering. It was also because Zeref was next to me.

" D-Don't tell me... Y-You two... Zeref and Lucilla?" He gulped. We just nodded.

" Yeah. Now, are you lying to my partner?" Zeref asked.

" N-No! The whole place is yours! We were closed b-because no one w-was here..." He stuttered out.

" That's what we thought," The two of us said in unison. We walked passed the desk, the 9 others following.

"You two need to calm down," Cobra said.

" We will be teaching you how to use these. You know how to shoot a gun. But do you have the aim? And what about the hand weapons you chose? Do you have the skills?" Zeref asked.

" Zeref and I are going to do a partner system. You and your partner have to work together. I already chose the partners. One group will have a group of three. These partners are people you don't work well with the most. We will switch partners once you are ready," I said before they could say anything.

" I will be taking two teams. Lucy will take the other two," Zeref said.

" Natsu and Cobra. Gray and Lyon. Sting and Laxus. Rogue, Gajeel, and Jellal. I'll be taking the trio, Sting, and Laxus," I said. Zeref nodded.

" Wait! What are we even doing?" Jellal asked. Zeref and I looked at each other and grinned.

" I guess we can show you," I smiled. We all walked into the main rink. The guys sat down on the side bleachers. Zeref and I stood in front of the entrance. A test dummy appeared. it was able to move. There was a beep and the match began.

"..." We stayed still, not moving a muscle. The dummy started moving in a crazy pattern. My eyes watched it and Zeref closed his eyes. He placed his finger pads on the floor and went into a kneeling position.

"..." The dummy got closer. It was making weird noises. When it was close enough, I jumped in the air and took out my shurikens. Zeref sped toward the dummy and punched it in the stomach. That made the dummy go across the room. I threw my shurikens to the ground. That marked where the dummy went. As soon as it stopped moving back, I regained its balance and charged.

" Now, Zeref!" I shouted.

" Right!" He shouted back and I took out my crossbow. I jumped up into the air and landed on the other side of the dummy. Zeref started his full attack. He used chain slingers. With those, He swung the dummy into the air. I shot my arrow and it went straight through the shoulder. The dummy fell on the ground but was still standing. It took the arrow out.

" Let's finish this!" Zeref shouted. I nodded. 

As the dummy regained balance, I drew my sword and sprinted toward it. With a swipe, I sliced its arm off. Zeref didn't give it time to react. He had some of the daggers and threw them fast and consecutively. They hit the leg, stomach, and hand. I ran toward Zeref. He caught me and spun me around. He released me into the air and I took out my whip. I wrapped it around the dummy and lifted it up. I then slammed it into the ground. Hard. Zeref took his spear and stuck it into the center of the target. I pointed my gun to its head and shot it.
