JELU ENDING!

It's been about a decade since I chose Jellal. Today, Jellal and I are going on a date. Coco, who is finally 18, has been our trusted babysitter for 5 years. She agreed to watch our twin daughter and son tonight while she studied.

" You ready?" I heard Coco ask. I nodded.

" Now, I know you've been watching Julie and Lyncan since they were babies but," I started while putting on my shoes, "They should have their homework for school done. There's some leftover pizza in the fridge. If they're still hungry, warm up some nuggets. No ice cream after 8. Make sure they're in bed by 9."

Coco shook her head, helping me up, "Yeah yeah. I know. You can count on me. Don't worry, Lu."

I let out a small breath, and I brushed the invisible dirt off of my dress. She's right. I should relax tonight, "I'll be going now."

" Have fun with Blueberry~!" Coco called as I made my way down the stairs. In front of the door, I saw Jellal in his suit and tie being tackled by the twins.

" Woah! Mommy looks so pretty!" Julie, my daughter exclaimed, her eyes sparkling. At that, Jellal looked up. His eyes widened when they landed on me, and a bright red shade spread across his cheeks. I couldn't help but giggle. He's always reacted like this, even after all we've done.

" L-Lucy..." He stuttered, voice cracking, "B-Beautiful..."

" Speak actual sentences, Jellal," I teased, walking up to him.

" Daddy's in loooovvveee~!" Lyncan sang, dancing with Julie. This made his face brighten even more.

" Alright, kids. Don't give daddy such a hard time. Only I'm allowed to do that," I chuckled as the twins ran away. Jellal puffed his cheek out, turning away and opening the door.

" L-Let's go... reservation... soon..." He mumbled. Those were the only words I could make out. And I simply giggled, closing the door behind me.

" Come on, Jellal. Why are you getting flustered over such a minor thing?" I smiled, getting into the car, "So many worse things have happened in the past."

" I-I know... B-But every time I see you all dressed up... for me..." He trailed, face going red again, "I can't help it."

The whole ride to the fancy restaurant was full of me teasing Jellal and Jellal trying not to burst. Over the past years that we've been together, Jellal has gotten less serious and more immature. Not Natsu immature. But like he was a shy high school boy in love with his classmate.

The fancy restaurant was pretty boring. I mean, come on. It's romantic, but all you do is sit at a table, eat some small expensive food, talk a bit, and then pay more than you should. Now, the ride home was a little better. I was just looking out the window. But Jellal is a good driver. He was able to grab a hold of my hand and drive with his free one. 

" It's a good thing we didn't eat their dessert, huh?" He chuckled softly into my knuckle as he kissed it. 

I could feel my face get hot, "J-Jellal! No!"

" Why not? It's two hours past their bedtime."

" But they might wake up and hear...!" 

" Well, we'll just have to be quiet."

" What's gotten into you?!" 

" What? Do you think I didn't notice how bored you were tonight? Plus, this is payback for earlier."

" J-JELLAL!"

" You shouldn't have made fun of me."

" But the kids did too!"

" I'm letting them slide."

" Not fair!"

" It is. Trust me. You don't want me to let it slide for you."

" Ugh! St-Stop talking like that."

" You know you love it~"

"..... I do...."

So uh... I think this is a bit rushed. I honestly couldn't think of a good way to end this ending. So, hopefully, you enjoyed the playful argument they had... 

STINGLU/STICY IS NEXT! It should be out earlier than this one if I can figure out a good different ending for them
