Chapter 13: Released and Framed

3 days later, Natalie was released out of the hospital, however had to where a arm holder, to keep her arm in place.
She returned to school and all eyes were on her. She walked through the halls, rumors spread and she was officially called "The Killers sidekick" and "Rileys fate" and so much more. Everyone hated her. They blamed her for Rileys death.
Natalie ran into the girls bathroom and locked herself in a stall. She pulls the toilet seat down and sits on it. Her phone beeps and sees a message from Unknown.
Killer:'Is poor Nat crying? How's it feel to be the center of attention?'
Natalie:'What do you want? '
Killer:'You'll see soon enough. I'm about to send a great vote poll to everyone in lakewood. Enjoy it my queen.'
The killer sends out a vote panel, a lakewood vote on who should get cut next

Natalie stared at the text. Tears ran down her face. She wiped the tears away with tissue and was about to unlock the door when her phone started to ring.
She looked down and saw it was from Unknown again. She answered it.
"What do you want."
"Nat Nat. How are you?"
"What do you want you psycho."
"There there now. I was kind enough to keep you alive. I could of killed you and Riley that night."
"Why didn't you kill me."
"I need you. You know you're very special in my game. Riley, she was just a pawn, you are the queen and so is Emma. There can only be one queen at the end of the day Nat."
The killer hangs up and Natalie puts the phone into her pocket and runs out of the bathroom. She couldn't stay at school. She zipped up her jacket and hood and ran out of the school. It started to rain and she's all alone on a street, close to her house. Her phone rings for the second time, scaring her and she picks it up.
"Just leave me alone!"
"But your my queen Nat. I'm still playing chess and your still on the board. Why are you standing alone when you know a killer is about murdering your friends."
Natalie looks around and starts to run home.
"Nat. Why you running."
"I'm hanging up."
"Don't you dare!"
Natalie runs up the stairs to her house and opens the door. She enters and locks it. She runs around and locks all doors and windows.
"You know I followed you so...did you just lock me in or out."
Natalie starts to shake. She hangs up on the killer and calls the only person she thinks of, Jake.
"Jake!"
"Nat? What's wrong."
"Are you home?"
"No...I'm at a basketball game, about to start."
"The killer...he's in my house. He won't drop following me."
"Nat get out of there. Run to your brothers store. I'll be there in 10."
She hangs up and grabs her coat. She runs out of her house and calls the police to check around it.

*Time later*

Natalie runs into Noah's store and sees Audrey, Noah and Emma around the counter.
"Nat?"
Noah runs up to her and takes her coat off.
"What happened?"
"The killer. He won't stop."
Noah checks Natalies arm and makes sure it's wrapped and hasn't started bleeding.
"Your okay here."
Natalie looks down and sees a yearbook. "Whats that?"
"Nothing."
"Emma."
She takes the yearbook out of her hands and flips a few pages. She looked at a memorial page. She scans it and sees her father's name, Glenn Finch. She breathes in and out. She continues to flip more pages and sees pictures of the people who died cut out.
"What the?"
She lands on the page of Emmas dad scratched out with black pen. Above was writing.
"Go where the mask was made? What?"
"I don't know but Audrey and I are going. You two stay."
"Okay...Jakes coming soon anyway. Stay safe guys."
"Okay."
Audrey and Emma leave. Natalie waits for Jake to arrive.
"Hey."
"Hey. Are you alright."
"If you two are gonna flirt around you can leave."
Noah flips his ps3 controller around.
They both laugh and leave the shop. It stopped raining so they go to the lakewood park. Natalie sits at a bench , that was protected by board of wood over it.
She starts to tear up and Jake sits beside her.
"Everyone hates me..."
Jake looked at her.
"You saw the pole didn't you."
"Did you vote for me too?"
"Hell no. Gotta keep an uncrediable, friend and hottie around. Since Rileys gone..."
"I didn't mean to be weak, I didn't want Riley to die..."
"We know...people don't understand that...Come here."
Natalie leans her head on his chest and he swings his arm around her. They sit on the bench sitting there for 2 hours straight, talking and staying together, when they both got an email. They opened it and saw a video, Emma taking her shirt off for Will.
"Holy Shit..."
